Abstract: Various embodiments include a charging circuit for a vehicle-side electrical energy store comprising: an alternating current terminal; at least two smoothing capacitors; a configuration device; and a rectifier via which the alternating current terminal is connected to the configuration device. The configuration device connects the rectifier to the at least two smoothing capacitors and is configured to connect the smoothing capacitors to one another in a first parallel arrangement and a second series arrangement. The alternating current terminal comprises a neutral conductor terminal connected via a diode circuit to the configuration device.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a vehicle-side charging apparatus comprising: an AC voltage connection; a rectifier connected to the AC voltage connection; a first DC/DC converter and a second DC/DC converter; and a DC voltage connection. Each DC/DC converter includes a intermediate circuit capacitor and a switch unit. The rectifier is connected to the DC voltage connection via the DC/DC converters. There is a switch connecting the DC/DC converters in a switchable manner. In a first switching state the respective intermediate circuit capacitors and the respective switch units of the DC/DC converters are connected in parallel with one another and in a second switching state in series with one another. There is a third DC/DC converter connecting the rectifier to the DC voltage connection.

Abstract: An electric machine includes an annular stator and a rotor disposed within the stator. The stator has a multiplicity of stator segments in a circumferential direction. Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for checking and ensuring the functionality of an exhaust gas aftertreatment system of an internal combustion engine. The exhaust gas aftertreatment system has a catalytic converter and a voltage source. The catalytic converter has a catalytic converter area and an electrical heating device which is selectively supplied with electrical energy from the voltage source. The method includes determining an actual value which is characteristic of an ohmic resistance of the heating device. The actual value being determined by using an electrical current strength supplied to the heating device and an electrical voltage supplied to the heating device from the voltage source. The method also includes providing a setpoint value which is characteristic of an expected ohmic resistance of the heating device. The setpoint value takes into account a specific heating-up behavior of the heating device and an expected long-term behavior of the catalytic converter.
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods for determining an electrical fault of a conductivity sensor for ascertaining the electrical conductivity of a medium using a conductivity principle, wherein the conductivity sensor comprises a first electrode pair fully disposed in the medium comprising: applying an electrical alternating voltage to the first electrode pair; measuring a temporal profile of the electrical alternating current at the first electrode pair resulting from application of the electrical alternating voltage at the first electrode pair; ascertaining a current-amplitude characteristic value from the temporal profile of the electrical alternating current; and identifying an electrical fault of the conductivity sensor if the current-amplitude characteristic value is below a first current threshold value or above a second current threshold value.
Abstract: An emergency operation method for actuating a fuel pump after a first temperature threshold for an actuation electronics system of the fuel pump has been exceeded including reducing a power consumption of an electric motor that drives a pump stage by the actuation electronics system by reducing a rotational speed until a monitored temperature value falls below a second temperature threshold below the first temperature threshold. Emergency operation method is initiated after the first temperature threshold is exceeded by a fault signal output by the actuation electronics system to an engine control unit is communicatively connected to the actuation electronics system. The fault signal, as long as it is output, is used to suppress a specification for the rotational speed of the electric motor on the part of the engine control unit and instead to specify the rotational speed by way of the actuation electronics system.
Abstract: A storage-battery charging device for a motor vehicle is configured to be arranged in the motor vehicle. The storage-battery charging device includes a first stage with a power factor correction filter, and a second stage with an inverter. The first stage is electrically connected to the second stage through an intermediate node, the intermediate node being directly electrically connected to a feed-in connection point for direct voltage. The feed-in connection point is designed for direct electrical coupling to a high-voltage vehicle electrical system of the motor vehicle.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for detecting and distinguishing a cause of at least one combustion misfire of an internal combustion engine. No further electrically conductive contacts exist between the first part and the second part of the aluminum frame. The multi-part aluminum frame is molded into the plastic housing of the SCR dosing pump assembly.
