Abstract: An electrically and manually adjustable screening device for screening a window. The screening device has a screen with a variable length and a positionable free end. The longitudinal position of the free end determines the length of the screen. An electric drive is operably connected to the screen for adjusting the longitudinal position of said free end. A sensor arrangement is configured to detect manual movement of the longitudinal position of the free end and for outputting a detection signal. A circuit or processor is configured to control the speed of the electric drive and is configured to ramp up the speed of the electric drive in response to a detected manual movement starting the ramp up at a speed similar to the speed of the detected movement to gradually take over from the manual movement.

Abstract: A sealing member for use between a flashing member and a roofing material is made of a compressible material and with slits and/or weakening sections extending into the sealing member from the exterior surface towards the interior surface, each slit and/or weakening section extending from one side surface to the other side surface. In one embodiment the slits and/or weakening sections extend in parallel planes, each plane being substantially parallel to the height direction and extending at an angle of 15-75 degrees to the length direction of the sealing member, preferably an angle of 45 degrees. In use the sealing member is arranged on a flashing member and a roofing material is arranged to rest on the sealing member and compress one or more sections of the sealing member. If the sealing member includes weakening sections, at least one of these is at least partially broken when the sealing member is compressed.

The sum of the widths of the lid sections is substantially equal to the width of a receiving section intended for carrying the window and the lid sections have different widths. The width of each lid section corresponds to at least ¼ of the width of the receiving section. Preferably, the packaging comprises an indication that it should be opened at the joint between the two lid sections and one of the lid sections preferably has a standard width regardless of the size of the packaging, preferably approximately 40 cm. A packed window and a method for packing a window is also part of the invention.
Abstract: A skylight cover is provided that includes a light transmitting body including first and second integral lenses. The first and second integral lenses define polygonal perimeters, each polygonal perimeter having a first element and a second element residing therein, the first and second elements disposed adjacent to each other in each instance. The skylight cover may include a plurality of ridges and creases, the individual, respective ridges and creases disposed in advantageous configurations. The cover may likewise include a plurality of surfaces, some optionally parallel and some optionally co-planar.
Abstract: The window arrangement comprises a plurality of neighboring window systems, each window system comprising a frame structure (1, 101) including a plurality of frame members including a pair of opposed side frame members (3, 105), and at least one accessory element (200). Each side frame member comprises a groove such that two grooves of juxtaposed side frame members of two neighboring window systems form a track (100). The accessory element or elements (200) is connected to the window systems by means of the track.
Abstract: A transportable PCM (phase change material) module comprises a number of PCM packs; a housing for thermally insulting said number of PCM packs from a module's surrounding medium; spaces separating said packs and forming one or more channels for the flow of a fluid; said housing incorporating a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet; whereby, in use, fluid flows through said channels from said inlet to said outlet. A PCM (phase change material) pack comprises a laminate of a first conducting panel and a second conducting panel enclosing a portion formed primarily of PCM; wherein said portion of PCM incorporates thermal conductors.

Abstract: A tubular skylight is provided, comprising a roof mounted element for collecting exterior light, a ceiling mounted element, and a tube connecting the roof mounted element and the ceiling mounted element. The skylight includes a diffuser element mounted in the ceiling mounted element for distributing the exterior light in a room. The diffuser element includes a first diffuser pane having a translucent bottom portion and a sidewall portion with a translucent light path zone. The tubular skylight has means for affecting the luminance of the light exiting the diffuser such that the luminance of light exiting through the light path zone has a different luminance than light exiting through the bottom portion. The ceiling mounted element and the diffuser element provide a light passage from the light path zone to the room by a free space adjacent the light path zone.
