Abstract: A tubular skylight is provided, comprising a roof mounted element for collecting exterior light, a ceiling mounted element, and a tube connecting the roof mounted element and the ceiling mounted element. The skylight includes a diffuser element mounted in the ceiling mounted element for distributing the exterior light in a room. The diffuser element includes a first diffuser pane having a translucent bottom portion and a sidewall portion with a translucent light path zone. The tubular skylight has means for affecting the luminance of the light exiting the diffuser such that the luminance of light exiting through the light path zone has a different luminance than light exiting through the bottom portion. The ceiling mounted element and the diffuser element provide a light passage from the light path zone to the room by a free space adjacent the light path zone.
Abstract: A skylight with a sunlight pivot is provided. The skylight includes an external cover, a light channel, and a sunlight pivot disposed between the cover and the light channel. The sunlight pivot may include a periphery, a plurality of struts, and first and second prisms connected to at least two of these struts. The first and second prisms may define a void between them. The first prism has a cross-section configured to redirect light incident upon the exterior of the pivot to increase the amount of light passing into the light channel. The second prism is configured with a cross-section configured to redirect light incident upon the exterior of the pivot to decrease the amount of light passing through the periphery.

Abstract: A power supply device including a switch arrangement including switches for generating a square wave output, a switch control arrangement for controlling the switch arrangement, a resonator tank, a rectifier circuitry for rectifying in an output from the tank, and a burst mode operation arrangement configured to facilitate a standby mode of the power supply and including a burst mode restriction arrangement for receiving and evaluating a first feedback parameter associated with a switch of the switch arrangement, the burst mode operation arrangement further receiving and evaluating a second feedback parameter indicative of the output voltage of the power supply device, and being configured to disable and enable the burst mode feature based on the evaluation of both the first feedback parameter and second feedback parameter by controlling an output from the burst mode operation arrangement.
Abstract: A frame for a window intended to serve either as a stationary frame or as a sash frame according to the invention comprises an insulating abutment list on a side surface of at least one of the top, bottom or side members intended to face a side surface of another frame of the window. The insulating abutment list is made from a material having a thermal conductivity of less than 0.08 W/(m·k), preferably less than 0.04 W/(m·K). Preferred materials for the insulating abutment list are expanded polystyrene (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS). In a window with such a frame, an insulating abutment list on the sash frame preferably extends from hinge part to the bottom member of the sash frame and an insulating abutment list on the stationary frame preferably extends from a hinge part to the top member of the stationary frame.
Abstract: The window system has a substantially rectangular frame structure having four corner sections (1b) and being adapted to be installed in a roof structure and a bracket arrangement comprising a set of bracket units (6b), each bracket unit including a base element (10b) mounted at each corner section of the frame structure. Each bracket unit furthermore comprises at least one supplemental element (20b,40b) adapted to be detachably connected to said base element. One supplemental element comprises a leg element (20b) adapted to be detachably connected to the base element, preferably rotatably and detachably connected with the base element.

Abstract: A screening arrangement (1) has a top element (4) including a cover and two side rails (8, 9). The top element (4) is provided with a top rail (440) forming the front side of the top element and being connected to the cover of the top element (4). Side rails (8, 9) are adapted to be joined to the mitred ends of the top rail (440) by means a set of angular brackets cooperating with reception means in the back side of the top rail (440) and in the back side of the respective side rail (8, 9).
Abstract: A ventilation apparatus arrangement 10 for ventilating the interior 12 of a building. The ventilation arrangement 10 includes a duct 18 extending to above the roof 14 of the building. The duct 18 is square in cross section and is divided into four quadrants by internal vertical divider plates. A louvre arrangement 22 is provided on each side of the upper part of the duct 18 to receive air into the building on a windward side of the duct 18, and to expel air from a leeward side of the duct 18. A closure arrangement 26 is provided for selectively partially or wholly closing the louvre arrangements 22, for instance in the event of bad weather.
