  • Patent number: 8789323
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for attachment of an object to a thin-walled profile with a number of walls by means of one or more threaded fastening members. Each fastening member is driven into an open-ended space between two walls of the profile, where the opening faces an outer surface of the profile, and the space has a width corresponding substantially to the minor diameter of the thread. Fastening members can be screws or bolts, a retaining member can be applied to prevent the two walls from moving away from each other and a filler or glue may be provided in the space before the introduction of the fastening member. • Patent number: 8763482
Abstract: A push-pull chain actuator (1) comprises a housing with a chain exit/entry opening (4) and a sprocket (2) arranged to engage a push-pull chain (3). The sprocket (2) causes the polygon effect. The actuator comprises a first chain guide part (10a) for guiding said push-pull chain (3) around the sprocket (2) and a second chain guide part (10b) for guiding said push-pull chain (3) at the correct angle between the chain exit/entry opening (4) and the sprocket (2). The second chain guide part (10b) is shaped as a meandering path to counteract the polygon effect. Alternatively, the second chain guide part (10b) can be shaped and dimensioned to reduce chain oscillations caused by the rollers (8c) engaging or disengaging the chain exit/entry opening (4) at the end of the second chain guide part (10b).

  • Patent number: 8720135
Abstract: The pane module is composed by a border element (2) molded around the pane element (1) encasing it on the edge and interior faces. The frame may be of a rectangular configuration, but it is to be understood that more complex configurations may be necessary for achieving a water proof connection to the structure in which the window is mounted or to a surrounding window frame. A fitting (42) is embedded in the border element (2) during its manufacture and is subsequently or simultaneously connected to the frame (3). When using a wooden or extruded frame the fitting may be driven into the finished frame member and when using a molded frame the fitting may be embedded therein during molding.
