Abstract: A method and apparatus of processing a user call via an intelligent voice response (IVR) call processing application is disclosed. One example method may include receiving a call from a user device, obtaining user information from the received call, comparing the user information to at least one pre-stored user information stored in a user databank associated with a user account, and calculating a first confidence level by comparing the user information to the pre-stored user information. The method may also include authorizing the user device to receive an offer based on the first confidence level, and transmitting the offer to the user authorized by the first confidence level.

Abstract: At least one inquiry message is received from a user device in the form or a text message, email or other communication message format. The message may be received and processed to identify the content of the inquiry message to determine whether the inquiry message should be transferred to a live agent queue or whether the inquiry message should be responded to with an automated response stored in a database. In the case of the automated message failing to address the user's inquiry or if the automated responses do not appear to be relevant based on the comparison of the message content to automated response content then transmitting the inquiry message to the live agent queue.

Abstract: One example method of operation provides receiving, at a server, event data generated by a user device indicating an emergency event, initiating an emergency application on the user device, processing the event data to identify whether the event data exceeds an emergency status threshold, transmitting a notification to the user device, and based on a response from the user device, notifying third party services of the emergency event.

Abstract: Locating a mobile device in the event of an emergency may be based on common location techniques, such as GPS and geolocation. Additional location techniques may be performed in a sample method of operation which may include determining location information and environmental factor information at a mobile device, recording the location information and the environmental factor information, calculating deviations for the location information and the environmental factor information based on pre-stored location information and pre-stored environmental information, and calculating a confidence factor based on the calculated deviations, determining the mobile device location based on the confidence factor.

Abstract: A hammer system and method thereof for monitoring an organization platform to detect system level problems of one or more applications. The hammer system may include a hammer device, an enhanced trunk group poller, and a client-specific application hammer. The client-specific application hammer may be structured as a simulator that is operable to periodically place calls into the organization platform and emulate real call scenarios. The simulator may include D-channel polling logic.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed of transmitting live event notification information to a user device. One example method may include retrieving event user preference information from an event user database based on prestored user preferences. The method may also include transmitting an initial event notification message to an end user communication device based on the event user preference information to notify the end user of an upcoming event and receiving a response message from the end user communication device indicating a current availability of the end user. The user device may receive notification information via more than one communication channel and respond in a number of different ways.

Abstract: A system and method for processing and reporting situational information to emergency service providers in an emergency service communications network is disclosed. An emergency situation is monitored. Responsive to detecting the emergency situation, information relating to the emergency situation is collected. Then, the information is processed and stored in a database. The processed information is then reported to emergency service providers.

Abstract: A message receiving, intercepting and processing method and corresponding application and device may provide receiving a message from a user device at a message processing server, pre-processing the message to determine at least one topic of interest associated with at least one word parsed from the message, identifying at least one existing topic related to the at least one topic of interest posted in a social networking application associated with a user account of the user device based on the parsed at least one word, linking the at least one existing topic to the user account, and posting the at least one existing topic to the user account.

Abstract: A system, method and non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions that when read by a processor perform receiving a telephony connection request at a location in a telephony network, the location separated from the intended recipient of the telephony connection request by a target telephony network, determining addressing information regarding the intended recipient, the addressing information including at least routing information or a phone number, accessing a do-not-call list, the do-not-call-list including one or more telephony recipients and recipient addressing information for each telephony recipient, the recipient addressing information including at least routing information or a phone number, and determining whether the target addressing information matches any recipient addressing information.

Abstract: A cloud access cost estimate application may receive a request message for access to at least one cloud application from a client computing device and identify one or more application cost variables corresponding to the cloud application identified. The application may then calculate a cost estimate to use the at least one cloud application, and transmit the cost estimate to the client computing device for approval prior to providing access to the at least one cloud application. A user interface may provide purchase options to demonstrate various options based on cost variables so a user device may identify the cost option best suited for the application usage.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium for removing credit card numbers from a financial transaction record is provided. A temporary record containing only numeric characters is generated by parsing non-numeric characters from the financial transaction record. Numeric strings are then parsed from the temporary record and evaluated to determine if the parsed numeric strings potentially comprise a credit card number. Numeric strings that are evaluated as potentially comprising credit card numbers may then be further evaluated to determine if the numeric strings comprise valid credit card numbers. The original financial transaction record may then be searched for numeric strings evaluated as valid credit card numbers. Any string of consecutive characters that match a validated credit card number may then be replaced with white space characters or other innocuous characters in the transaction record.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating user interaction with a voice application. A VoiceXML browser runs locally on a mobile device. Supporting components, such as a Resource Manager, a Call Data Manager, and a MRCP Gateway Client support operation of the VoiceXML browser. The Resource Manager servers either those files stored locally on the mobile device, or files accessible via a network connection using the wireless or mobile broadband capabilities of the mobile device. The Call Data Manager communicates call-specific data back to the application's system of origin or another configured target system. The MRCP Gateway Client provides the VoiceXML browser with access to media resources via a MRCP Gateway Client.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present invention may include a method and apparatus configured to authenticate a user transaction (e.g., point-of-sale, ATM transactions, etc.). One example method may include receiving user authentication information during the user transaction and confirming the user authentication information is correct. The method may also include determining a current user location by a location associated with the user's mobile device, and comparing the current user location to a known location of an entity associated with the user transaction. The method may also include authenticating the transaction if the current user location is within a predetermined distance of the known location of the entity associated with the user transaction.

Abstract: A message receiving, intercepting and processing method and corresponding application and device may provide receiving a message at a message processing server, the message being intended for a phone number associated with a customer service provider. The method may also include identifying a telephone number of the sender of the message, parsing at least one word from the message, retrieving user account information of the sender, and generating an automated response to the message that includes contextual information that is based on at least one of the user account information and the parsed at least one word from the message.

A request message may be transmitted to an application services module to connect with an agent associated with the selection. A contact number of a proxy server may be received from the application service module. The contact number may be utilized to connect with the agent via the proxy server.
