Abstract: An information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium are provided. The information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: control a display to display a first space for a first conversation including a first message and a second space for a second conversation next to each other, the first conversation being a conversation of a first group including a first member, the second conversation being a conversation of a second group; in response to a first operation received on the display, control the display to display, in the second space, the first member of the first group or the first message of the first conversation. The first operation is a gesture moving along the display from a first place on the display to a second place on the display in contact the display.

Abstract: A method to produce a polymer gel includes dissolving precursors in a solvent to form a precursor solution, the precursors including polymer precursors, a stable free radical, one or more initiating radicals, and one or more stable free radical control agents, and heating the precursor solution to a temperature of polymerization to produce a cross-linked gel. A dried polymer aerogel has a Brunauer-Emmett Teller (BET) surface area over 100 m2/g, porosity of greater than 10%, visible transparency greater than 20%, color rendering index of over 20%, and average pore size of less than 100 nm.

The cleaning web can move opposite the process direction of the belt. The web can reduce contamination on the platen, inside of belt and along belt rollers.

Abstract: Systems and methods for encoding high resolution data associated with a relatively large number of bits to an encoded form having a relatively reduced number of bits. The method includes, by a processor: receiving an input image comprising one or more high resolution objects. The method further includes, for each of the one or more high resolution objects: identifying an object family for that object and determining whether a reference table exists for the object family. If a reference table exists for the object family, the method includes determining a size of that object, and identifying a tag based on the size. The method also includes encoding that object to form an encoded object having a relatively reduced number of bits, associating the identified tag with the encoded object, and saving the encoded object.
Abstract: An object printing system printer enables printing of electrical circuits on non-planar areas of objects and the accurate placement of electronic components within the printed circuits. The system includes a direct-to-object printer and an electronic component placement system. The direct-to-object printer is configured to form an electrical circuit on an object secured within the direct-to-object printer. The electronic component placement system is configured to retrieve an electronic component and install the electronic component in the electrical circuit on the object secured within the direct-to-object printer in response to the direct-to-object printer generating a signal for the electronic component placement system that indicates the electronic component is to be installed in the circuit on the object secured within the direct-to-object printer.

Abstract: A system server includes a memory and a processor in communication with the memory. Abstract: Systems and methods for adapting a service provided based on a local taxonomy defining a local community of individuals are disclosed. The systems and methods involve a close proximity protocol used to detect and/or communicate with various mobile devices located within a certain range of a site location, and include a device that requests information from the mobile devices and a device that provides a service to the one or more users within range of the service-providing device. A local taxonomy is generated and evolved based on the dynamics of the local community of individuals (i.e. as individuals enter and exit the range of the system), and the service(s) provided is adapted as the local taxonomy changes.

Abstract: A method of forming an article including a diffraction grating includes forming a periodic structure by printing lines on a first side of transparent substrate with a toner. The lines have a frequency and a spacing which causes incident light to be diffracted into a plurality of beams travelling in different directions. The method can be used for forming reflective or transmissive diffraction gratings using xerographic printing techniques.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are configured to identify and print a replacement version of an electronic document. They include receiving an electronic document as part of a print request from a user. They also include accessing at least one document retention location associated with the received electronic document and comparing a set of electronic documents in the at least one document retention location with the received electronic document.
