Abstract: A bidirectional sealless ink pumping system used in an inkjet printing device includes a liquid ink reservoir and a pump. The pump moves ink from the reservoir through a pumping chamber to supply ink to printheads in the printer, and moves ink from a recirculation receptacle through the pumping chamber to the reservoir. A portion of the ink in the pumping chamber is drawn out of the pumping chamber to lubricate the moving member and is filtered before returning to the pumping chamber.

Abstract: A motion detecting device includes: a first detecting unit that detects a state of a writing hand of a writer based on first data output depending on the state of the writing hand from a first sensor; a second detecting unit that detects a distance between the writer and a recording medium based on second information output from a second sensor; a determining unit that determines that the writer is writing on the recording medium when the state of the writing hand detected by the first detecting unit is a predetermined state and the distance detected by the second detecting unit is smaller than or equal to a predetermined threshold value; and an output data generating unit that generates output data based on a state of the writer determined by the determining unit.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a receiving unit, a paper information storing unit, an initializing unit, a paper information comparing unit, a temporary stopping unit, and a printing unit. The receiving unit receives print jobs. The paper information storing unit stores paper information preset in the printed page. The initializing unit initializes the paper information stored in the paper information storing unit during a certain period. The paper information comparing unit compares the paper information of the page to be printed in the print job with the stored paper information. The temporary stopping unit temporarily stops printing according to the result of the comparison. The printing unit prints the print data of the page to be printed in the case that the paper information of the page to be printed is the same as the stored paper information or the stored paper information has been initialized.

Abstract: The present teachings provide a fuser member. The fuser member includes a substrate layer comprising a polyimide polymer and a hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene. A method of manufacturing a fuser member containing a polyimide polymer and a hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene is presented.

Abstract: A system and method for page frame detection for pages of a document are disclosed. The method includes receiving a set of document pages for a document, each page having at least one detected object. For each page in the set, the method includes determining dimensions of bounding box which encompasses the detected objects of the page and determining margin dimensions, based on a position of the bounding box on the page. A page frame is computed as a combination of bounding box dimensions and margin dimensions, based on frequencies of the bounding box dimensions and margin dimensions computed for the set of pages. The computed page frame is matched to pages of the document. Information based on the matching, such as content of text objects within the matched page frame, can be output.

Abstract: A method receives a user login from a user. The method grants, to the user, access to a user account of the user maintained by a computerized document management system based on the user login. The computerized document management system is accessible to a plurality of users. The method receives a request from the user to provide a requested document and the method determines whether the requested document should be password protected. If the requested document should be password protected, the method generates a unique password for the requested document. The unique password is unique to the user and is based upon information contained within the user account by the computerized document management system. Again, if the requested document should be password protected, the method adds the unique password to the requested document to generate a password-protected document and sends the password-protected document to the first user.

In one embodiment, the tool includes a user interface layer, a business layer, a data layer, and a database. The user interface layer may include a product structure feature group, an add/edit/link feature group, a manage maturity feature group, and a manage conformance feature group. The tool may be implemented as a web server accessible to user workstations operating as thin clients.

The other set of document image data, which may again be rasterized image data or image data organized in an MRC layer format, represents a second portion of information for the document that may change. Abstract: A system provides for controlling a cursor on a screen automatically and dynamically when using a video camera as a pointing device. A computer displays static or dynamic content to a screen. A video camera connected to the computer points at the screen. As the video camera films the screen, frames captured by the video camera are sent to the computer. A target image is displayed by the computer onto the screen and marks the position of the screen cursor of the video camera. Frames captured by the video camera include the target image, and the computer dynamically moves the target image on the screen to ensure that the target image stays in the center of the view of the video camera.
