Abstract: An electronic device includes a reprogrammable logic element, a configuration data storage, a reading section, a dummy data creating section, a skip determination section, a writing section and a control section. The configuration data storage stores configuration data for the reprogrammable logic element. The reading section successively reads the configuration data from the configuration data storage. The dummy data creating section creates dummy data. The skip determination section determines as to whether or not the configuration data is to be skipped. The writing section writes the configuration data or the dummy data into the reprogrammable logic element. If the skip determination section determines that the configuration data is to be skipped, the control section controls the dummy data, which is created by the dummy data creating section, to be sent to the writing section.

Abstract: Reference identification and resolution identifies reference text fragments in a document and associates referenced object text fragments in the document with the identified reference text fragments. Reference profiles are abstracted from the document. Each reference profile specifies at least a reference number and an object type identifier. A reference profile is paired with an object text fragment of the document containing the reference number of the reference profile. The pairing is repeated to associate reference profiles with object text fragments. A reference text fragment of the document satisfying one of the reference profiles is associated with the object text fragment paired with the satisfied reference profile. The associating is repeated to associate reference text fragments of the document with object text fragments.
Abstract: A safety feature prevents a two wheeled electric paper lift from raising a paper tray on uneven ground that includes a tilt switch positioned in parallel with an upper limit switch that controls the height in a vertical direction of the paper tray. When a tilt angle of the paper lift is greater than 50 the tilt switch will prevent the paper tray from being raised and thereby prevent the load on the paper tray from shifting or tipping over and causing injury to an operator.

Abstract: Sheet feeding systems and methods for using such systems to feed a sheet from a stack in a document processing system are disclosed. An exemplary sheet feeding system may include a feed roll, a retard system, a trailing edge retention system and a system for automatically an selectively separating the feed roll and the retard system. The feed roll may be configured to drive a first sheet of a stack of sheets in a process direction. The retard system may be configured to prevent one or more second sheets from being driven in the process direction. The trailing edge retention system may be configured to automatically and selectively retain one or more second sheets in the stack by applying a force to a trailing portion of at least one second sheet, thus allowing the feed roll and retard system to be separated during much of the feed cycle. As a result, wear of the feed roll and/or retard system may be reduced.
Abstract: An apparatus (100) useful in printing for charging a photoconductor and for cleaning a scorotron grid is disclosed. The apparatus can include a scorotron frame (110) and a scorotron charge member (120) coupled to the scorotron frame, where the scorotron charge member can be configured to generate an electric field. The apparatus can include a scorotron charging grid (130) coupled to the scorotron frame, the scorotron charging grid having a length axis, a width axis, and a height axis, and the scorotron charging grid including a scorotron charging grid surface having a plurality of openings. The apparatus can include a scorotron charging grid cleaner (140) coupled to the scorotron charging grid, where the scorotron charging grid cleaner can be configured to travel along the scorotron charging grid length axis and clean the scorotron charging grid.

Abstract: What is provided is a system and method for node set construction and look-up table generation to transform image data in the form of color values of an input color image in an input color space to an output color space of an image output system. In the present method, node locations are selected based upon an importance value generated by a significance function which describes a relative importance of a given color value in the input image or a region thereof. A distance weighting function is also provided which is applied to the significance function to balance the significance of a given node against a relative positioning of all other nodes in the multi-dimensional grid. Nodes can be added or deleted according to methods also described herein. Accordingly, a multi-dimensional look-up table is generated wherein node tiling is based upon a significance of color values of an input image.
Abstract: An ink jet ink composition comprised an anti-curl agent and ink jet printing processing using such ink jet ink composition. The ink jet ink composition includes a hyperbranched polymer. The hyperbranched polymer acts as an anti-curl agent to control curl during a printing process. The anti-curl agent, i.e., the hyperbranched polymer, may be present in the ink amounts less than conventional anti-curl agents and still effectively control curl without detrimentally effecting intercolor bleed control water fastness or drying. Additionally, the ink composition do not exhibit increases in viscosity, and problems associated therewith, that occur in ink composition using conventional anti-curl agents.
Abstract: A photoreceptor comprising a charge transport layer doped with a polyarylate polymer is provided. A charge transport layer is doped with about 0.1 to about 10.0% by weight, solids basis, of a polyarylate polymer, such as for example Ardel. Charge transport layers doped with a polyarylate polymer exhibit improved electrical performance in terms of lower Vr and VBG values.
