Abstract: Many professionals use public transportation for site visits. If there is spare time between site visits, it is desirable for them to find a workspace that is more secure than a coffee shop. Work booths located at train stations meet that need. The system handles the reservation of those work booths based on the customer's schedule and destinations. In a dense public transportation network of a major metropolitan area, there are several routes one can take to travel between two points with only slight delays. Small additional detours may be acceptable if they pass by an available work booth. Unlike a traditional public transportation navigation system, one or more of the described embodiments can check all routes leading past work booths in parallel.

The information processing apparatus includes a display device; and one or more processors configured to form a display area to be displayed on a screen of the display device; set a first display area and a second display area next to each other in the display area; assign a first and a second conversation screens to the first and second display areas respectively, each of the first and second conversation screens comprising a plurality of conversation messages; and move the display area along the screen in response to an operation on the screen, such that the screen sequentially displays all of the first display area, a portion of the first display area and a portion of the second display area, and then all of the second display area and none of the first display area.
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a semiconductor substrate. The method includes: forming a crushing layer on the back surface of the semiconductor substrate before forming an element on an epitaxial layer formed on a front surface of the semiconductor substrate; and removing a part of the epitaxial layer. The semiconductor substrate is not exposed to a temperature of 200° C. or higher between the forming of the crushing layer and the removing.
Abstract: Methods, Apparatus, Devices and Systems herein load a firing distance into a distance counter of a printing device. The firing distance is the distance from the current position of a printhead of the printing device to a marking location on a substrate and the distance is calculated based on an angular encoder operatively associated with a roller used to transport a marking media to the printhead for marking. These devices and methods count the firing distance in angular distance increments as a function of the encoder angular position to correct for encoder roller runout using the distance counter, based on relative movement of the substrate and printhead. When the distance counter reaches the last discrete distance increment corrected for encoder roller runout of the firing distance, these devices and methods load the fractional remaining distance of the firing distance into a time counter of the printing device.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a controller that presents, upon selection of first information associated with a first element, second information associated with a second element defined as an element that executes a function in cooperation with the first element and second information associated with a second element that is not defined as an element that executes a function in cooperation with the first element in a distinguishable manner.
Abstract: A binding processing device includes a first pressing member including: a first convex portion; a first concave portion; and a first connection portion which is provided between the first convex portion and the first concave portion; and a second pressing member including: a second convex portion; a second concave portion; and a second connection portion which is provided between the second convex portion and the second concave portion. In a state in which the first convex portion of the first pressing member and the second concave portion of the second pressing member come in contact with each other at the first connection portion and the second connection portion, the first connection portion contacts with the second connection portion and a gap is formed between the first convex portion and the second concave portion along a pressing direction of the first and second pressing members.
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for cooling a digital micromirror device are disclosed. For example, the apparatus includes a digital micromirror device (DMD), a housing coupled to the DMD, wherein a first side of the housing is coupled to a bottom of the DMD and a cooling block coupled to a second side of the housing that is opposite the first side. The cooling block includes a plate that includes a plurality of openings, a diaphragm coupled to the plate, an air inlet to generate an airflow across the plate, wherein the diaphragm creates a force to move the airflow in a direction that is perpendicular to a direction of the airflow towards the second side of the housing, and an air outlet to collect the airflow.
Abstract: An information processing system includes a first information processing apparatus and a second information processing apparatus that use setting information. The first information processing apparatus includes a transmission unit that transmits information including at least function identification information and user identification information to the second information processing apparatus, the function identification information identifying a function for which first setting information is used, and the user identification information identifying a user associated with the function identification information.
Abstract: A media handling assembly contains a transport path for driving a document sheet downstream in a process direction. A first side edge extends lengthwise along the process direction. A registration guide edge extends lengthwise along the process direction and is situated opposite the first side edge. The media handling assembly includes at least one nozzle that is arranged proximate the first side edge. The at least one nozzle selectively discharges an airstream transverse the process direction towards the registration guide edge. The airstream drives the sheet against the registration edge guide for side registering and deskewing of the sheet.
