Abstract: A print control apparatus includes a memory, a print processing unit, and an erase processing unit. The memory stores one or more pieces of print data each representing print content and being subjected to a print process. The print processing unit performs the print process for a piece of print data stored in the memory, and generates a piece of post-process data that represents print content. The erase processing unit moves, to a trash or a deletion folder, a piece of data for which the print process has been performed among one or more pieces of data stored in the print processing unit, and performs an erase process for a storage area of the piece of data that has been moved, the erase process being a process of data overwriting and being performed in parallel with the print process that is performed for another piece of print data.
Abstract: A hand-raising detection device includes a converter and a detection unit. The converter performs conversion of a predetermined space including a person into an overhead view image by using a result of three dimensional measurement performed on the predetermined space. The detection unit performs detection of a hand-raising action by using a silhouette image of the person in the overhead view image resulting from the conversion performed by the converter.
Abstract: A color conversion apparatus includes an accepting unit and a converter. The accepting unit accepts plural colorimetric values obtained by measuring a target color image in plural directions. The converter converts the plural colorimetric values accepted by the accepting unit to color values including a value indicating a coloring-material amount of a luster coloring material and a value indicating a coloring-material amount of a coloring material other than the luster coloring material.
Abstract: Described herein is a method of manufacturing a fuser member. The method includes mixing a high load fluoropolymer/carbon nanotube composition in a high shear mixer. The method includes mixing the high load fluoropolymer/carbon nanotube composition in the high shear mixer for 3 or more times. A fluoropolymer is added to the high load fluoropolymer/carbon nanotube composition to form a low load fluoropolymer/carbon nanotube composition. The low load fluoropolymer/carbon nanotube composition is mixed in a rubber compounding mixer for 3 or more times. The low load fluoropolymer/carbon nanotube composition is coated on a fuser substrate, cured and polished.

Abstract: A method for identifying an angle of roll for a multi-nozzle extruder includes moving the extruder in a first process direction to form a first set of swaths of extrusion material using two nozzles in the extruder and moving the extruder in a second process direction to form a second set of swaths of extrusion material. The method further includes identifying a location of one nozzle relative to the other nozzle in two dimensions based on cross-process direction distances between the first and second sets of swaths and identifying the angle of extruder roll for the extruder based on the location of the one nozzle and a predetermined geometry of the extruder.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a fixing unit that transports a sheet of paper carrying an unfixed image through a nip part to fix the unfixed image to the sheet, the nip part applying heat and pressure to the sheet, a first guide unit that guides transport of the sheet, the first guide unit coming into contact with a first side of the sheet leaving the nip part of the fixing unit, and a second guide unit that guides transport of the sheet, the second guide unit coming into contact with a second side of the sheet leaving the nip part of the fixing unit, the second guide unit being rotatable, the second side being opposite to the first side.
