Abstract: A purchasing behavior analysis apparatus includes an acquiring unit that acquires posting information about a specific product from posting information posted to a social networking service; a conversion unit; and an artificial neural network. The artificial neural network includes a first determination layer which determines whether a user is interested in the product, a second determination layer which determines whether the user wants the product, and a third determination layer which determines whether the user is predicted to purchase the product in the future. The purchasing behavior analysis apparatus further includes an interest presence probability calculating unit, a purchase desire probability calculating unit, and a purchase likelihood probability calculating unit.

Abstract: A reader suitable for reading data from a printed memory device attached to a curved surface includes a flexible wiring assembly that can be repositioned from a first position having a first profile into a second position having a second profile. In the first position, electrical contacts of the reader do not electrically couple with contact pads of the printed memory device, while in the second position the electrical contacts of the reader electrically couple to the contact pads of the printed memory. In one implementation, the flexible wiring assembly includes a flexible underlayer that supports the plurality of electrical contacts. In another implementation, the flexible wiring assembly includes a rigid first portion and a rigid second portion that pivot about a pivot point.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a processing unit, an extraction unit, a memory unit, a determination unit, and an assignment unit. The processing unit executes a character recognition process. The extraction unit extracts at least one area located within a predetermined range from a first area that is included in a designated image and that is designated to undergo the character recognition process. The at least one area is a second area. The memory unit stores an attribute on a per character string basis. The determination unit determines, on a basis of the attribute stored by the memory unit, an attribute corresponding to a character string recognized as one or more characters from the first area by the processing unit and a character string recognized as one or more characters from the second area by the processing unit. The assignment unit assigns the determined attribute to the designated image.

Abstract: A diagnostic device includes an acquisition unit, an extraction unit, a generation unit, and a display. The acquisition unit acquires sound information. The extraction unit extracts, from the acquired sound information, device information related to a device to be analyzed. The generation unit performs time-frequency analysis on the acquired sound information, and generates a first analysis result expressing change over time in an intensity distribution at each frequency. Abstract: A method for extracting entities from a text document includes, for at least a section of a text document, providing a first set of entities extracted from the at least a section, clustering at least a subset of the extracted entities in the first set into clusters, based on locations of the entities in the document. Complete ones of the clusters of entities are identified. Patterns for extracting new entities are learned based on the complete clusters. New entities are extracted from incomplete clusters based on the learned patterns.
