    Abstract: A computer-implemented method of localization for an indoor environment is provided, including receiving, in real-time, a dynamic query from a first source, and static inputs from a second source; extracting features of the static inputs by applying a metric learning convolutional neural network (CNN), and aggregating the extracted features of the static inputs to generate a feature transformation; and iteratively extracting features of the dynamic query on a deep CNN as an embedding network and fusing the feature transformation into the deep CNN, and applying a triplet loss function to optimize the embedding network and provide a localization result.

    Abstract: A three-dimensional object printing system comprises a ejectors configured to eject drops of material towards a platen, a heater, a sensor configured to sense temperature of the ejected material, a radiator configured to direct radiation to the ejected material, a cooler configured to cool the ejected material, and a controller operatively connected to the ejectors, heater, sensor radiator and cooler. The controller is configured to control the ejectors to form layers of material for a three-dimensional object on the surface of the platen with reference to image data of the three-dimensional object, to operate the heater to heat the surface of the platen, to compare a temperature signal received from the sensor to a predetermined threshold, to operate the radiator to radiate the object layers, and to operate the cooler to attenuate heat produced by the radiated material in response to the signal from sensor exceeding the predetermined threshold.

    Abstract: A method for ensuring that a memory array such as a ferroelectric memory array is properly electrically connected. The method may be performed, for example, prior to a read or write cycle, during functional testing of the memory array, etc. In one implementation, the memory array is read and the data set including a data bit from each cell is stored in a register. A solid logic 0's pattern is written into the memory array, and each cell is read. If no cell returns a logic 1, it is determined that the memory array is properly connected and the register data values are written to the memory array. If one or more cells returns a logic 1, it is determined that the memory array is improperly connected, the register data values are written to the memory array, and the memory array is removed and reinstalled.
