Abstract: A receiving device includes a display, a communication unit, and a protrusion portion. The display displays an image and receives an operation corresponding to the image in such a manner that a user comes into contact with the image. The communication unit communicates with a wireless communication apparatus performing near-field wireless communication. The protrusion portion is disposed at least between the display and the communication unit and protrudes from a surface on which the display is provided.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a first integrated circuit and a second integrated circuit. The first integrated circuit includes a first controller which processes data obtained from a device and which controls operations of the device. The second integrated circuit includes a second controller whose data processing speed is faster than the data processing speed of the first controller. When the second controller performs a second process with greater priority than a first process after start of the first process and before completion of the first process, the second controller determines whether or not the first controller is to restart the first process on the basis of a condition defined as to data subjected to the first process.
Abstract: An information processing device includes storage and a controller. In a case where a change of network address occurs in a communication channel, the storage stores a pre-change network address for a terminal connected to the communication channel in association with a post-change network address for a terminal whose network address has changed. In a case where communication to a terminal is performed using the pre-change network address, the controller controls the communication by using the storage such that, in a case where the network address of the terminal has not changed, the communication is performed as-is, whereas in a case where the network address of the terminal has changed, the pre-change network address is converted to the post-change network address to communicate with the terminal.

Abstract: A printer includes a first printhead operatively connected to a source of ultraviolet (UV) curable ink having a first color, a first source of UV radiation following the first printhead in the process direction by a first predetermined distance, a second printhead operatively connected to the source of UV curable ink having the first color, and a second source of UV radiation following the second printhead in the process direction by a second predetermined distance that is greater than the firsts predetermined distance. The first predetermined distance enables the first source of UV radiation to fix the UV curable ink ejected by the first printhead before passing the second printhead and the second predetermined distance enables the ink ejected by the second printhead to flow over a portion of the substrate before the second source of UV radiation fixes the UV curable ink ejected by the second printhead.
