The system can comprise a server, cameras operable to stream video to the server or other storage location and to a surveillance center of the facility, input devices, a first module operable to assign one or more codes to the facility, associate one or more cameras with each code, and associate response guidelines with each code; and a second module operable to receive one code of the one or more codes from one of the one or more input devices, notify the facility assigned to the one code based on the response guidelines, stream video from the one or more cameras associated with the one code to the surveillance center of the facility, and generate the security alert based on the video stream. Abstract: A novel system and method for enhancing people's personal safety and incident reporting is presented, wherein mobile devices are used to report and/or record both “911” type situations and non-emergency situations. Users of the invention can record, transmit, stream, upload and/or send information from a threatening situation to a dispatcher at an emergency management office or facility and to the user's safety group. The dispatcher can assess the situation and, if the situation warrants action, then the information can be forwarded to the appropriate first responders. The system geo-locates the user and allows integration of camera feeds in the user's vicinity. The inventive system and method enables a user to contact a dispatcher and also to alert the user's safety group. Four pieces of software facilitate video, audio, images and/or text medium of communication between the user-in-distress and the dispatcher, first responders and the user's safety group.

Abstract: A business intelligence (BI) system which includes the ability to extend its functionality outside of the project life cycle by means of specific content. Complex multidimensional queries are interpreted as trees of atomic sub-expressions that are combined in a parse-tree-like structure to form the overall query. Each sub tree is valid in isolation when provided with the proper context. Any sub tree can be an expression template, stored as application content, which at generation time uses simple text substitution with instance specific parameters to produce multidimensional expression syntax. The system includes a sophisticated type system and semantic layer that hides the user from the complexities inherent in working with OLAP databases. A business intelligence expert can provide type and semantic cues for each expression template, held as content.

Abstract: A photovoltaic (PV) module framing and coupling system enables the attachment of PV modules to a roof or other mounting surface without requiring the use of separate structural support members which attach directly to and span between multiple PV modules in a formed PV array. The apparatus provides a parallel coupling for securely interlocking the outside surfaces of parallel frame members together in a side to side arrangement to form an array with improved structural load distribution. The coupling may attach to a slot in the frame at substantially any position along the length of the frame thereby enabling the interconnection of adjacent PV modules along both an x and y axis. The apparatus may further provide a rotating portion and locking portion, mounting brackets for direct connection to a mounting surface, grounding teeth, and a twist-lock engagement means for interlocking and aligning PV modules in the array.
