The strap is woven from at least the first, second and third groups of warp threads and at least one weft thread, the strap being devoid of the second group in the second area, and of the third group in the first area, the first group passing through the first and second areas. The first group and second group of warp threads are distributed over the width of the strap in the first area.
Abstract: The belay device comprises: a body with an inlet for insertion of a strand of rope forming a loop, a shaft and clamping part mounted on the body, the shaft extending in a longitudinal direction, an attachment opening collaborating with a carabiner connecting the belay device with a harness, a cam with a first end mounted in rotation on the shaft along a path so as to move towards or away from the clamping part and to define a first clamping position of the rope and another position. The cam, body and clamping part define a running path of the rope. The rope strand passes between the cam and the clamping part. The first end defines a through opening formed by the attachment opening. The connecting part is fitted movable in rotation with respect to the body along the path.
Abstract: Lanyard having at least one belaying strap connected with a swivel connection which comprises two assembly parts able to rotate with respect to one another with a relative rotational movement. The two assembly parts of tubular shape are engaged coaxially in one another, the first outer part having a larger diameter than that of the second inner part. At least one of the parts is provided with a slot or hole for fitting securing means designed to secure the two parts in rotation in the engaged state. Applications: safety and securing lanyards for via ferrata, caving, mountaineering.
Abstract: The self-clamping descender with pulley includes a first flange with a side wall defining a rope channel, a pulley fitted in rotary manner with respect to the first flange around a first axis of rotation, the pulley only rotating in a first direction of rotation around the first axis of rotation. The first axis of rotation is fitted movable with respect to the side wall of the first flange so as to define a first position and a second position presenting different distances with respect to the side wall of the first flange. Clamping of the pulley in the second direction of rotation results in movement of the first axis of rotation and pulley in the direction of the side wall of the first flange up to a threshold position.
Abstract: A headlamp is disclosed with a lamp fitted with a light source; a headband allowing the fastening of the headlamp over the head of a user, where the headband has a constant length, symmetrical with respect to a median sagittal plane. The headband also has an alternation of rigid/semi rigid elements for allowing a deformation in the space and the adjustment on the user's head is presented. In addition, the headband has a rigid/semi-rigid front section allowing a certain deformability along a first plane (x, y), a rigid/semi-rigid intermediate section allowing a certain deformability along a second plane (x, z) and a rigid/semi-rigid rear section allowing a certain deformability along a third plane (y, z). The headband has elements for the attachment and the passage of an elastic link for constraining the deformation of the rigid/semi rigid headband within the three planes.

Abstract: A headlamp which contains a lamp is disclosed, with a headband enabling the lamp to be held on the head of a user is presented. The headband has a rigid/semi-rigid front section supporting the lamp using a pivot liaison. The pivot liaison allows rotation having: a first amplitude of at least 0 to +30 degrees and preferably 0 to 45 degrees to provide appropriate illumination when the lamp is worn in a conventional manner around the head. A second amplitude ranging from at least 0 to ?45 degrees, and preferably 0 to ?80 degrees provides appropriate illumination when the lamp is worn around the neck without being inverted. The 0 degree inclination corresponds to the pivot of the lamp which generates a horizontal light beam when the headlamp is positioned on the head of a standing user with the eyes fixing the horizon.

Abstract: A connector including: first part designed to be connected to crown of protective helmet, second part designed to be connected to crown of protective helmet and fitted in removable manner on first part, connecting part mechanically connecting first part and second part so as to form first mechanical connection, movable part moving between first and second positions and configured: to prevent first and second parts from coming detached from one another when the parts are subjected to first threshold tensile force, when movable part is in first position, to enable first and second parts to be detached from one another when the parts are subjected to second threshold tensile force lower than that of first threshold tensile force, when movable part is in second position. The invention also relates to protective helmet provided with one such connector, as well as to an assembly method of such connector.
Abstract: The carabiner comprises: a body defining an insertion slot of a rope extended by a securing area of the rope, a first clamp fitted movable between a standby position of the rope in the insertion slot and an obstruction position when the rope is in the securing area, the obstruction position being configured to prevent insertion of another rope in the securing area, a second clamp configured to allow movement of the rope from the insertion slot to the securing area and to prevent movement of the rope from the securing area to the insertion slot.
Abstract: A removable anchoring device comprising a fixed first part with an expansion head, and a movable second control part having wedging half-rings and a gripping knob associated with a stop and a spring. The stop is arranged on the fixed first part and is movable with respect to the gripping knob by a relative translational movement to disable any release command in a predefined position. The gripping knob is thus able to occupy a first axial adjustment position offset from the stop to indicate the non-locked state enabling the release command, and is movable to a second axial adjustment position in engagement against the stop to indicate the locked state and to disable said release command.
Abstract: The descender comprises a handle and a cam that are movable between a securing position and a sliding position of the rope. The cam defines a first stop and a second pin. The handle has a first pin coming into contact with the first stop to form a first mechanical link and a second stop coming into contact with the second pin. Movement of the handle results in movement of the cam between the securing and sliding positions. In a threshold position of the handle, the first mechanical link is interrupted and the cam returns to the securing position. The second stop is movable with respect to the handle by means of a spring. When movement of the handle takes place, the second pin comes into contact with the second stop before the handle stresses a spring and reaches the threshold position.
Abstract: The roping harness comprises a belt and leg loops. The belt is formed by a first strip and a second strip separated so as to define a housing cavity housing at least one foam comfort pad. The first strip is an inner strip designed to come into contact with the user's back whereas the second strip is an outer strip of the belt. The first strip and second strip are fixed to one another by at least one resistance strap mechanically fixed to a suspension point.
