Abstract: A networked communication system allows a vendor that maintains a website to prioritize, select, and establish human-assisted interaction with visitors to the website. The vendor's human help agents are provided with intuitive interfaces that depict visitor priority based on agent-specific ranking rules. Agents can manage these rules to optimize their performance in responding to visitors, and thus improve the quality of visitors' experiences.

Abstract: A server can disable lost or stolen devices using an SMS lost-mode command relayed via a relay mobile device. The SMS command is encrypted to prevent malicious attacks. The SMS command includes a universal device identifier unique to the target device, the phone number of the relaying device, and a time stamp memorializing command creation. The relaying device relays the encrypted lost-mode command to the target device. Successful decryption authenticates the server. Before executing the lost-mode command, however, the target device reviews the unique identifier to verify the target and compares the phone number of the relaying device with the number identified with the incoming SMS message to authenticate the relaying device. The target device also considers an embedded time stamp to determine whether the lost-device command is superseded by a subsequently issued though later received command from the server.
Abstract: A system and method for communicating a multimedia presentation between a presenter and an audience is described. Services provided via a network facilitate the communication, and include real-time determination of remaining portions of a presentation responsive to “on the fly” presentation modifications, automated filtering and prioritization of audience feedback to a presenter, and integration with one or more customer data resources.
Abstract: A document editing system using a third party application having an embedded document editing module is disclosed. The system include a client-side document editing engine that accepts requests to edit a document from and displays at least a portion of the document to a user of the client-side system. The system includes a first server-side application engine that processes the requests to edit the document. The system can include a second server-side data storage engine that stores the document in a remote storage location.
