Abstract: A control apparatus is communicably connected to a first apparatus to perform a control on the first apparatus. The control apparatus includes a data collecting unit, a collection interval determining unit, and a storing unit. The data collecting unit collects, by polling and from the first apparatus, data in order to perform the control. The collection interval determining unit determines, based on a setting content of the control, a collection interval of the data collected by the data collecting unit. The control apparatus performs a plurality of the controls on one first apparatus. The storing unit stores, for each of the controls, one data item or a plurality of data items constituting the data. The storing unit further stores, for each of the data items, the collection interval.
Abstract: A chloride salt eliminator system and method for removal of chloride salt from glycol circulated through a reboiler in natural gas dehydration, in a continuous process, close to the wellhead. Hot glycol from the reboiler is pumped into a salt eliminator unit having independently replaceable filter elements which trap chloride salts which are not soluble in hot glycol and pass clean glycol for return to the reboiler.
Abstract: Systems and processes for designing and generating personalized surgical implants and devices are described herein. In various embodiments, the process includes generating patient-specific implants with patient-specific surface(s) and/or textures designed for increased osseointegration and improved surgical outcomes. In various embodiments, the process includes extracting patient-specific data with one or more aspects of an anatomical feature, processing the one or more aspects of the anatomical feature to create a non-rigid shape reference, and generating a patient-specific implant or device.
Abstract: The present invention provides an active distribution network physics-information fusion control method for a hybrid system model includes an initialization time being a starting time, predicting power output and load of a feeder intermittent distributed power supply within a control time period T, calculating a feeder exchange power deviation variation ?P(t) during the control time period, if being a fixed distribution coefficient, and establishing a hybrid system model for feeder power coordinated control; if being a rolling distribution coefficient, an exchange power P(t) of the control region at time t being obtained, generating a distribution coefficient matrix W(t), and establishing the hybrid system model of the said feeder power coordinated control; confirming a control objective function min J, converting it into a MIQP, obtaining a full period control quantity; selecting a first control quantity P of the optimized control sequence, sending the first control quantity P to the control device.
Abstract: A method and system for co-ordinating control of a plurality of sensorless devices. Each device includes a communication subsystem and configured to self-detect one or more device properties, the device properties resulting in output having one or more output properties. The method includes: detecting inputs including the one or more device properties of each device, correlating, for each device, the detected one or more device properties to the one or more output properties, and co-ordinating control of each of the devices to operate at least one of their respective device properties to co-ordinate one or more output properties for the combined output to achieve a setpoint. In some example embodiments, the setpoint can be fixed, calculated or externally determined.

Abstract: A control system for an operable system such as a flow control system or temperature control system. The system operates in a control loop to regularly update a model with respect at least one optimizable input variable based on the detected variables. The model provides prediction of use of the input variables in all possible operation points or paths of the system variables which achieve an output setpoint. In some example embodiments, the control loop is performed during initial setup and subsequent operation of the one or more operable elements in the operable system. The control system is self-learning in that at least some of the initial and subsequent parameters of the system are determined automatically during runtime.

Abstract: Systems include one or more critical datacenter connected to behind-the-meter flexible datacenters. The critical datacenter is powered by grid power and not necessarily collocated with the flexboxes, which are powered “behind the meter.” When a computational operation to be performed at the critical datacenter is identified and determined that it can be performed at a lower cost at a flexible datacenter, the computational operation is instead routed to the flexible datacenters for performance. The critical datacenter and flexible datacenters preferably shared a dedicated communication pathway to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency, secure data transmissions.

Abstract: A workpiece machining device includes a positional deviation correction unit configured to correct a positional deviation of a radius end mill by detecting a positional deviation between a real contour line and an ideal contour line of the radius end mill. The positional deviation correction unit calculates a first correction value configured to make a center of a first arc section formed into an arc shape at a corner portion of the ideal contour line and a center of a second arc section formed into an arc shape at a corner portion of the real contour line to be identical to each other in a plane perpendicular to the rotational axis, and corrects a machining point by the radius end mill using the first correction value.
