When attached to the first network the terminal detects the second and compares a first bandwidth measurement, representing available bandwidth along a first path between the terminal and the fixed point, to a second bandwidth measurement representing available bandwidth along a second path between the terminal and the fixed point. The terminal maintains attach to the first network if the first bandwidth measurement is higher than the second bandwidth measurement and makes a decision to handover to the second network if the second band¬ width measurement is higher than first bandwidth measurement.

The transmission mode of the traffic queue may be a Multi-User (MU) uplink (UL) mode if a data frame previously stored in the traffic queue has been transmitted, since a predetermined period of time, in a resource unit (RU) provided by the AP within a transmission opportunity granted to the AP on the communication channel. Subsequently, based on the ACL entry, the primary vPC node can generate a copy of the packet. After which, the primary vPC node can transmit the packet to the secondary vPC node.

    Abstract: A communication session for a UE can be restored in the event of serving call session control function (S-CSCF) node unavailability and/or application server (AS) unavailability by storing, prior to IMS unavailability, attribute-value pairs (AVPs) at a home subscriber server (HSS). These AVPs can be used independently by individual IMS nodes to restore a communication session for a UE due to an unavailable IMS node. When a first S-CSCF node becomes unavailable, a proxy CSCF (P-CSCF) node can send a SIP request originating from the UE to a second S-CSCF node. The second S-CSCF node can then send a request to the HSS for an identifier of an AS associated with the UE. Upon receipt of the AS identifier (e.g., an active AS name AVP) from the HSS, the second S-CSCF node can send the SIP request to the AS in order to restore the communication session for the UE.

A method can include detecting a condition of a device; selecting, based at least in part on the condition of the device, a mini-slot size; scheduling, in one or more mini-slots having the mini-slot size in a PRB, a HARQ transmission; and transmitting, to the device, the HARQ transmission in the one or more mini-slots of the PRB.

The source virtual network node may compute a total traffic flow rate and compare the total traffic flow rate with a bandwidth of the particular destination packet processor. In response to determining that the bandwidth of the destination packet processor is oversubscribed, the source virtual network node may update a forwarding plane data structure to reduce a likelihood of selecting the destination packet processor to which to forward packet flows.

Therefore, a mesh network with high efficiency and low cost is achieved.
