Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to credit media segments shared among multiple media assets are disclosed. Example methods disclosed herein include comparing a sequence of monitored media signatures with a library of reference signatures to determine a signature match, the monitored media signatures representative of a monitored media presentation. Disclosed example methods also include determining a duration and an offset of the signature match, the offset to represent a position of the signature match relative to a start of a reference media asset associated with the signature match. Disclosed example methods further include crediting a segment of the monitored media presentation represented by the signature match to an identifier of a class of media assets including the reference media asset in response to a determination that (i) the duration of the signature match does not exceed a first threshold and (ii) the offset does not exceed a second threshold.

Abstract: A stream of a media item is transmitted from a server computing system to one or more client computing systems. The media item has a timeline for playback of the media item. Participant-generated content is received at the server computing system from one or more participants at any of the one or more client computing systems. The participant-generated content is time-indexed to the timeline of the media item. The participant-generated content is processed to identify key portions of the media item based on indications present within the participant-generated content. A dynamic summary queue is generated that includes the key portions of the media item. The dynamic summary queue is assembled for streaming. A request to view the dynamic summary queue is received from a requestor. In response to the request, a stream of the dynamic summary queue is transmitted to a computing device of the requestor.

In the method, a first group of image frames in a first video having a first resolution is converted into a second group of image frames having a second resolution, the first resolution being higher than the second resolution; a second video having the second resolution is generated based on the second group of image frames; conversion parameters for the second video are determined based on the first group of image frames and the second group of image frames, the conversion parameters being used to convert an image frame in the second group of image frames into an image frame having a third resolution, and the third resolution being higher than the second resolution; and the conversion parameters and the second video are sent to a requester of the first video.

An embodiment operates by allowing users to subscribe to various chat panels of a messaging system. Users will be able to utilize the chat panels to send and receive messages. In a corporate context, an administrator may be able to quickly send unidirectional messages to employees as well as assign users to mandatory divisions based on job function. In an embodiment, the messaging system also allows for email integration and graphical user interface workspace configuration.

Abstract: Techniques for generating an interactive and dynamically updated content stream are described herein. Data assets that correspond to video segments provided by a plurality of content providers may be maintained. A video segment may correspond to a first portion of a full video segment for a piece of content from the plurality of content providers. A content stream may be generated that includes video segments provided by the plurality of content providers based at least in part on the data assets. The content stream may be presented via an application. Second input may be received via the application during presentation of the content stream that corresponds to a navigation command for displaying different content. The content stream may be updated to at least one of removing certain video segments or adding new video segments to the content stream based at least in part on the second input.

Abstract: A system is provided for concurrent presentation of non-programming media assets with programming media content at a client device. The client device receives a response for occurrence of an event opportunity point from the media presentation and distribution system based on a selection criteria for the event opportunity point. A display view of the client device is modified, and a non-programming media asset is presented from a second media stream for a defined duration and different version of the programming media content in first partition, concurrently with the programming media content over second partition. The different version of the programming media content corresponds to the programming media content encoded based on a region within the modified display view allocated to the first partition. The presentation is based on user preference for specific item in the programming media content and user selection of the non-programming media asset displayed in past engagement.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for processing data packets originated from a mobile computing device to destinations at a wireless network node. The wireless network node receives an access request from the mobile computing device for the data packet transmission to the destinations and determines an identifier of the mobile computing device. The wireless network node then determines whether the identifier is in a wireless network node database. When the identifier is not in the wireless network node database, the wireless network node suspends to process data packets received from the mobile computing device and communicates with a server to determine whether status of the mobile computing device in a server database is the first state.

A method may include receiving, at a first device, first volumetric data, and second volumetric data including a first volumetric time slice of a first volumetric media stream. The method may include determining that the first volumetric time slice includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion representing a first object and including an amount of the second volumetric data. The method may include determining that the first volumetric data represents the first object. The method may include generating a second volumetric time slice including the first volumetric data and the second portion of the first volumetric time slice, and generating a second volumetric media stream including the second volumetric time slice. The method may include sending the second volumetric media for presentation at a third device.

Abstract: Media, methods, and systems are disclosed for processing composite streaming video in connection with a centralized service. A request is received to initiate mixing a composite video live stream having a constituent stream quantity, one or more streaming video assets, and one or more media providers. If needed, one or more subsequent media servers are provisioned. The one or more constituent video streams and the one or more streaming video assets are received at a mixing server. The composite video live stream is rendered based thereon. The rendered composite video live stream is encoded into a standardized encoded video stream, which may be stored in one or more shared memories. The standardized encoded video stream is encoded into a provider-specific encoded media stream, which is then transmitted to a corresponding media provider.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to workload-based dynamic throttling of video processing functions. Systems and methods are disclosed that dynamically throttle video processing and/or streaming based on a workload. Live video is captured from one or more sources (e.g., cameras) and stored. The video is then provided to a video processing engine and a video streaming engine. The video processing engine may perform one or more operations such as object detection, object tracking, and object classification to produce characterization data (e.g., bounding boxes, object trajectories, alerts, object labels, object counts, boundary crossings, intersection highlighting, etc.). System resource usage and performance of the video processing and streaming are monitored to produce workload data (e.g., metrics). Based on the policies and the workload data, the video streaming and/or processing is dynamically reconfigured by adjusting parameters provided to the video streaming and processing engines.

Abstract: A holistic solution for improving the quality of publicly available/published video by providing an improved audio. The owner of the published video or audio content within the published video can upload the improved audio to a network database where it is associated with a video feature in common with the publicly available video. The client consuming the video, can activate a novel application/module/browser extension on a client terminal to detect the video feature of a currently selected video to begin downloading the improved audio. After a significant portion of the audio has been downloaded the invention mutes the audio playback of the video on the client terminal at or about the same time as it begins playback of the audio content so as to minimize distortion from the transition between the original audio and the improved audio. Additional features including audio/video synchronization, selectable audio tracks, visual feedback, and monetization are disclosed.

The method further includes determining multiple videos associated with the multiple video capture devices from the aggregated data stream based on the identifiers. Each video includes data packets with the same identifier.

Abstract: A method for co-hosting and an electronic device are disclosed. In the method, a co-hosting establishment instruction is acquired; configuration information of the first live streaming client is acquired in response to the co-hosting establishment instruction; first communication protocol information corresponding to a co-hosting process is acquired from the configuration information; and co-hosting with a second live streaming client is established based on the first communication protocol information. The co-hosting process is a general process in different types of co-hosting services, and includes a co-hosting establishment process.
