Abstract: A live event virtual experience is provided. Emotions of virtual spectators to a current situation occurring in a live event at a physical venue are determined from received data regarding reactions of the virtual spectators to the live event using bias detection. A historical sound clip that matches the emotions of the virtual spectators to the current situation occurring in the live event is retrieved. The historical sound clip that matches the emotions of the virtual spectators to the current situation occurring in the live event is input into a machine learning model that performs inverse bias mitigation to amplify bias and applies in-process adversarial fairness debiasing. The historical sound clip after performing the inverse bias mitigation to amplify the bias and applying the in-process adversarial fairness debiasing is converted to a standardized historical sound segment length. A sound representation is generated from the standardized historical sound segment length.

Abstract: Methods and systems for calculating, storing, and allowing electronic searches for metadata associated with media titles. The metadata includes scores specific to each actor and each genre of a media title, where the scores indicate the degree to which an actor's performance in that title corresponds to a particular genre. Electronic searches for particular actors' performance in a specific genre thus return more accurate results that more correctly reflect how well the actors' performances reflect that genre.

Abstract: A method for live streaming is provided. The method includes: displaying an online tutorial portal of a target service in a live-streaming room of an anchor account; in response to a trigger operation on the online tutorial portal, sending an online tutorial request to a server to request the anchor account to provide an online tutorial for the target service; in response to approval of the anchor account for the online tutorial request, acquiring video data by recording a current screen of a first terminal; displaying, in the live-streaming room of the anchor account, the current screen of the first terminal based on the video data; playing, in response to receiving audio data of the anchor account, the audio data of the anchor account; and acquiring audio data of a first account corresponding to the first terminal, and sending the audio data of the first account to the server.

Based at least in part on the received scheduling information, one or more package files are generated such that each package file includes a plurality of media asset files, each corresponding to at least one of the future scheduled media presentations, for distribution to a plurality of distinct media receivers. Database information is generated regarding the generating of the one or more package files, such that the database information includes a completion time associated with the generating of each package file.

Abstract: The timing for displaying an overlay a video is optimized using a system that includes an engagement component that receives information regarding frames of a video at which respective users of a plurality of users stop engaging with the video and an analysis component that calculates user engagement scores for the frames based on the information, wherein the user engagement scores reflect a percentage of the plurality of users that stop engaging with the video at the respective frames, and wherein the higher the percentage the lower the user engagement score. The system further includes an identification component that identifies a subset of the frames associated with relatively lower user engagement scores in comparison to other frames of the video and an overlay component that configures an overlay for displaying over the video near at least one of the frames included in the subset.

In some embodiments, a method may include receiving, at a secure access cloud point of delivery (PoD), from a client application on a client device, a request to access a corporate application that is deployed in a corporate datacenter. The method may also include creating, at the secure access cloud PoD, a facade representing the corporate application. The method may further include forwarding, from the facade, to a connector that is also deployed in the corporate datacenter, the request. The method may also include brokering, by the connector and the facade, authentication of a user, authorization of access by the user, and a secure communication session between the client application and the corporate application via the facade, with the client application being unaware that the secure communication session is brokered by the connector and the facade.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for using selective resolution reduction on images to be transmitted and/or used by a playback device are described. Prior to transmission one or more images of an environment are captured. Based on image content, motion detection and/or user input a resolution reduction operation is selected and performed. The reduced resolution image is communicated to a playback device along with information indicating a UV map corresponding to the selected resolution allocation that should be used by the playback device for rendering the communicated image. By changing the resolution allocation used and which UV map is used by the playback device different resolution allocations can be made with respect to different portions of the environment while allowing the number of pixels in transmitted images to remain constant. The playback device renders the individual images with the UV map corresponding to the resolution allocation used to generate the individual images.
