  • Patent number: 10803375
Abstract: A method of confirming the identity of a person issued a token and to track that person Possession of the token by the same person is confirmed by using sensors in the token which track the movements of the person. A machine learning system is trained to evaluate the sensor data detecting transfer of possession of the token. The state of continuous possession since the token was issued or set to an enabled state is confirmed and the token is tracked. The method of identity confirmation is used in various contexts such as for to control entry to a location, use of a facility or service. It is also useful to determine continuous possession of a weapon to prevent misuse after the weapon is stolen, dropped or lost. Servers, beacons and outside sources of data or inputs to be measured by the sensor can also be used.

  • Patent number: 10747970
Abstract: A transaction card may monitor an amount of electric current induced in a first near-field communication (NFC) component of a transaction card. Electric current may be induced in the first NFC component when the first NFC component is within an electromagnetic field generated by a second NFC component of a transaction terminal. The transaction card may dynamically activate one or more output components associated with the transaction card based on the amount of electric current induced in the first NFC component. The one or more output components may indicate whether the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal. The transaction card may perform an action related to completing a transaction after determining that the amount of electric current induced in the NFC component satisfies a first threshold. The first threshold may indicate that the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal.

  • Patent number: 10740764
Abstract: A system capable of charging up electronic money cards using a credit card is provided. A PIN is authenticated between a card terminal and the credit card. The card terminal transmits to a credit company server an authentication result, amount information indicating an amount with which to charge up, and a credit card number of the credit card. After billing, the credit company server transmits the amount information and the credit card number to an electronic money server. The electronic money server identifies an electronic money card based on the credit card number. The electronic money server generates amount change information for adding the amount with which to charge up to “VALUE”, and transmits the amount change information to the card terminal. The electronic money card updates the amount of “VALUE” stored therein to an amount specified by the amount change information.

  • Patent number: 10741902
Abstract: Part of the conductive loop of the threads is formed by a printed circuit on the substrate (5), where the group of the conductive strips (2) placed side by side is produced, and the core (1) is placed on them. The conductive strips (2) overhang from the groundplan of the core (1) and the ends of the conductive strips (2) overhanging on both sides of the core (1) form the connecting surfaces (4). The wires (3) shaped for the encirclement of the core (1) are connected to the connecting surfaces (4), whereby the wire (3) connects a connecting surface (4) of one conductive strip (2) with the connecting surface (4) on the opposite end of the neighboring conductive strip (2). After bonding to one end of the conductive strip (2) the wire is shaped above the substrate (5) by bending in such a way that it arches over the space intended for the core (1) and all wires (3) are shaped in such a way that they produce a channel for the core (1) placed on the substrate (5).
