  • Patent number: 9495378
Abstract: A packet of data and a packet-identification value are transmitted to a network device having an identifier. The stored packet-identification value and the identifier are recorded. The stored packet-identification value is then increased and the process repeats. To receive data, an expected identification value is stored in association with the identifier. A packet and a packet-identification value are received from the network device. The identifier and an indication of receipt are stored. If the received value does not match the expected value for the identifier, the received value is stored. If the values match, the stored packet-identification value and identifier are recorded. If the received value exceeds the expected value, the stored packet-identification value, the identifier and the received identifier are recorded. Subsequently, the stored expected value is increased. The process repeats. Network devices and systems are described.

  • Patent number: 9479927
Abstract: A wireless communication system provides call routing when the connection to a core network is lost. A base station wirelessly exchanges data packets associated with one or more communication sessions with one or more wireless communication devices. An Internet Protocol (IP) router scans the data packets to identify active users on the base station. The IP router generates a database of the active users. The IP router detects a loss of connection to the core network and determines which of the communication sessions can be maintained based on the database of active users. The IP router routes the data packets for the communication sessions that can be maintained back to the base station for delivery.

  • Patent number: 9461916
Abstract: Methods and arrangements are provided for maintaining a wanted Quality of Service transmission level of Lawful Interception (LI) payload data to a Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) via an HI3 interface in a LI system. The data is acquired from an intercepted IP packet flow and belongs to one or more target identities using a specific Internet communications service. The method, which is performed by the arrangement, includes monitoring the state of congestion of IP packets in the HI3 interface in relation to a first threshold level T1 and a second threshold level T2. The first threshold level T1 corresponds to a lower level of congestion than the second threshold level T2. The transmission of LI payload data is controlled based on the monitoring and a priority classification assigned to the LI payload data to be transmitted.

  • Patent number: 9451555
Abstract: Method and apparatus for controlling a transmit power of a mobile station are disclosed. Mobile stations in direct communication on a cross link (XL) receive control parameters from a base station. A first mobile station (a receiving mobile station) may calculate a correction parameter for power offset for transmissions from a second mobile station (a transmitting mobile station) to the first mobile station, and send it to the second mobile station. The correction parameter may be generated within the maximum and minimum limits. The second mobile station may calculate a transmit power level for a transmission to the first mobile station based on the correction parameter, measurements on resources allocated for cross links for mobile station-to-mobile station direct communications, an interference measurement received from the first mobile station, and a path loss to the first mobile station.
