  • Patent number: 9413414
Abstract: A signal routing assembly accepts a first transmission signal at an input and outputs a substantial portion of the signal at a common port of the signal routing assembly. A second transmission signal is received at the common port and is routed through the signal routing assembly delivered to output of the signal routing assembly. Leakage signals from routing devices leaking the first transmission signal are terminated inside the signal routing assembly. Leakage signals from a divider/combiner are cancelled by reflect signal from at least one reflector device. A transmitter produces the first transmission signal and the signal routing assembly delivers this signal to the common port of the signal routing assembly. In full duplex operation, second transmission signals received at the common port are routed to the output to be applied to a receiver.

  • Patent number: 9408221
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) reporting after resumption of Long Term Evolution (LTE) after a temporary suspension. In certain aspects, in order to minimize performance penalty to LTE on resumption after an LTE tune away for example to service a different Radio Access Technology, information available from before the LTE tune away may be used in addition to one or more additional parameters for determining how to perform LTE CQI calculation/update after tuning back to LTE. In certain aspects, a decision regarding whether a User Equipment (UE) reports a CQI based on channel conditions before the LTE tune away or reports a CQI based on channel conditions after tuning back to LTE may be based on a value of the Doppler estimate, a time duration of the LTE tune away, or a combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 9392590
Abstract: A method for transmitting HARQ-ACK information based on transmission diversity is provided. The method includes configuring two component carriers, referred to as Cells, for a User Equipment (UE); when a base station configures the UE to transmitHARQ-ACK information adopting the transmission diversity technique, the base station indicates dynamically whether an other Cell is scheduled in the same subframe via a PDCCH scheduling a PDSCH of one Cell, so as to enable the UE to know the number of Cells scheduled in the same downlink subframe by the base station, and to generate HARQ-ACK information based on the number of Cells. Unnecessary spatial bundling of the HARQ-ACK information may be avoided, unnecessary downlink data retransmission is reduced and throughput of downlink data is improved.

  • Patent number: 9385959
Abstract: Example embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for transmitting data packets between a protocol sender and a protocol receiver in a cloud environment, having either the protocol sender or the protocol receiver residing within a virtualized host. A protocol acceleration module may observe the data packets transmitted along the data path between the protocol sender and the protocol receiver using protocol stack configuration information of the protocol sender. The protocol acceleration module may override the protocol stack configuration information with policy-based protocol stack configuration information such that data packets transmitted from the protocol acceleration module to the protocol receiver use the policy-based protocol stack configuration information. For various embodiments, the protocol stack configuration information of the protocol sender is not modified.
