Depth information, flow fields, and/or other information may be used to determine interpolated frame images between adjacent frame images. An omnistereoscopic panoramic video may be used in a real-world VR application.

The method comprises the steps of: (i) providing information that relates to an image of a single target captured by at least two image capturing devices; (ii) storing the information provided in at least two input buffers; (iii) sampling the stored information and storing the sampled information at at least two output line buffers, each corresponding to a different image resolution; (iv) processing the sampled information that had been stored at the at least two output line buffers in accordance with pre-defined disparity related information, wherein the pre-defined disparity related information is associated with a respective one of the at least two image capturing devices that had captured the information being currently processed; and (v) retrieving information from the at least two output line buffers and storing the retrieved information at a hybrid row buffer, for generating the image.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content generating, searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide systems and methods for automatically detecting and rendering highlights from streaming videos in real-time. As a streaming video is being broadcast over the Internet, the disclosed systems and methods determine each type of scene from the streaming video, and automatically score highlight scenes. The scored highlight scenes are then communicated to users as compiled video segments, which can be over any type of channel or platform accessible to a user's device and network that enables content rendering and user interaction.

A container in a predetermined format is received, the container including a video stream having video data and a subtitle stream having subtitle data. The video stream is decoded to acquire the video data. The subtitle stream is decoded to acquire bitmap data of subtitles. Processing of correcting at least one of a size of the subtitles and a display position of the subtitles, is performed to the bitmap data of the subtitles. The bitmap data of the subtitles to which the processing has been performed, is superimposed on the video data to acquire display video data.

Abstract: Herein described are at least a system, computer readable storage media, and method for resuming consumption of content which was interrupted by a high priority message. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving the message while tuned to a first communications channel for receiving content, and transmitting a first signal responsive to detecting the start of the message. The first signal may pause delivery of the content, and may determine a location in the content corresponding to the start of the message. The method may further transmit a second signal responsive to detecting an end of the message, and trigger a resumption of delivery of the content starting at the indexed location.

Abstract: A media guidance application may provide similar media content based on user utterances responsive to ambiguous determinations at sporting events. The media guidance application may detect a user utterance and may identify a situation within the sporting event that the user was referring to. The media guidance application may compare metadata of the identified situation/segment with metadata of a plurality of historical ambiguous events, and determine, based on the comparing, a historical ambiguous event that corresponds to the segment/situation. The media guidance application may generate for display video including the historical ambiguous event that corresponds to the segment.

The method includes receiving content from a content source, and displaying the received content on a display. A first trigger is extracted from closed caption data associated with the received content. The reception apparatus retrieves a trigger parameters table (TPT) based on the extracted first trigger. Pairing can include providing information identifying a user device to a system authority, such as a remote communication interface server. For example, media effects may be applied and/or altered based on input from viewers or participants in the video stream. Changes to the media effects may accumulate based on the inputs. In another example, viewership numbers or engagement with a user applying a media effect may alter the media effect. In a broadcast context, actions of the broadcast audience (e.g., as measured by polling) may affect the broadcast and hence the broadcaster.
