Abstract: A first data packet can be received from an origination terminal at a remote server operatively coupled to the origination terminal and an end user terminal. The first data packet can have a plurality of offers and image or video data acquired by an image/video sensor. The image or video data can be processed by the remote server using an image processing algorithm to estimate a current idle time associated with the origination terminal. One or more aspects of the plurality of offers can be controlled by the remote server based on the current idle time. A second data packet including the plurality of offers can be transmitted to the end user terminal by the remote server. A selection of a preferred offer of the plurality of offers can be received from the end user terminal at the remote server. The preferred offer can be provided to the origination terminal.

In one embodiment a method is provided comprising providing, a first promotion specifying a redemption and a charge monetary values, the redemption monetary value being specified by redemption parameters of the first promotion and a value indicative of a total amount of funds purchased in response to accepting an instance of the first promotion, wherein the funds purchased can be redeemed for offerings of one or more merchants specified by the promotion, the charge monetary value being a monetary value charged for accepting the first promotion, and providing a first classification classifying the first promotion as a promotion having a redemption monetary value that may be used to purchase offerings of the one or more merchants over the course of multiple transactions.

Personal information from the at least one buyer can be stored. The personal information can be utilized to assign at least one account identifier to the at least one buyer. The at least one buyer can use the at least one account identifier to process payment over the at least one network for the at least one purchase from the at least one seller, such that the at least one seller does not obtain the personal information of the at least one buyer.

Abstract: Technologies are provided for acquisition of an item or service based on a directed content campaign. Embodiments include a computing system that can detect selection of directed content presented at a user device. The directed content identifies a mobile application and an action that results in the item being granted. After installation of the mobile application, the computing system can receive a device identifier of the user device in response to execution of the mobile application. The computing system can then generate data identifying events within the mobile application. The computing system can determine, using the user activity data, that a particular one of those events corresponds to the action, and can then generate a message that identifies the action and the item or service. The message also includes address data for a user interface to obtain the item or service. The computing system can then cause the user device to present the message.

Abstract: A digital advertising system includes at least one processor configured to execute a plurality of functional modules including an analytics module to receive and analyze client attributes associated with a website visitor and a requested website to define an analytics event. The analytics module ingests and enriches data within the analytics event and provides it to a machine learning module that generates prediction models for potential bids. A management platform receives the bidding prediction and generates candidate configs. An optimization module receives the candidate configs and applies weights and additional features to select a config and generate an optimized script for the selected config. A deployment module receives the optimized script and delivers the script to the website visitor.

Abstract: Methods and systems for facilitating generation of electronic advertising messages based on model web pages. A visual content request is received that identifies a model web page. Source code is retrieved that includes patterns that can be matched to identify visual features of the model web page. Visual content information is provided to an advertising message generation service to construct advertising messages that include at least a portion of the identified visual features. Constructed advertising messages are received, including at least one modified advertising message that incorporates a user-selected image extracted from the model web page. The identified visual features of the model web page can include text format, text color, background color, images, and video sequences.

Abstract: A gift redemption system may include a gift processing server configured to accept a gift value for a gift product for a gift recipient, and permit selection of a retailer from among retailers for the gift product. The gift processing server may also be configured to associate a gift recipient identifier with the gift recipient, and permit selection of a redeemable gift value from the gift value. The system may also include a retailer server associated with the selected retailer. The system may also include a gift redemption server configured to obtain the redeemable gift value and the gift recipient identifier, and cooperate with retailer server to generate a gift discount identifier for use by the gift recipient at a point-of-sale (POS) of the gift product based upon the redeemable gift value and the gift recipient identifier.

Data defining the proposed promotion may include information relating to the provider, capacity, the promotion structure, return on investment, and/or an auto-approval status. Some data defining the proposed promotion may be automatically generated by the promotional system and/or modified by the provider. The proposal may be auto-approved or approved manually by a sales resource. Upon approval, the promotion may be made available for sale.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method comprising obtaining, by a processing system including a processor, device design information for a device depicted in media content; obtaining a first image for inclusion in a depiction of the device; and obtaining display information regarding an apparent size and orientation of a display of the depicted device. The processing system adjusts the first image in accordance with the device design information and the display information and inserts the adjusted first image into the media content, thereby generating a second image comprising the display of the depicted device with the adjusted first image shown on the display. The method also includes altering the adjusted first image in accordance with changes in the apparent size or orientation of the display of the depicted device and delivering the second image to a user device. Abstract: An on-line marketplace provides systems and methods for a mutually beneficial messaging campaign with one or more merchants, in order to promote the merchants' products. One aspect of the messaging campaign includes augmenting the merchants' budgets across multiple commercial channels. The channels may include merchant-operated channels, marketplace-operated channels, and/or third party channels. The marketplace selects when and how to augment the merchants' budgets. The augmented budget comprises an overall content budget for the messaging campaign, including a first budget portion provided by the merchant(s) and a second budget portion provided by the on-line marketplace. The augmented budget may be determined based on a weighted combination of goals of the marketplace and one or more merchants. The augmented budget may be segmented into static and dynamic portions, in which the dynamic portion is varied between channels to determine variables to optimize budget allocation and message performance.

Abstract: A highway detection system may include a telematics device associated with a vehicle having one or more sensors arranged therein, a mobile device associated with a user traveling in the vehicle, and a server computer. The server computer may receive traveling data for a trip of the user from the one or more sensors and via the telematics device. The server computer may then determine whether the user is traveling within a city or on a highway based on analysis of the traveling data for the trip of the user, which may include a statistical analysis to calculate standard deviations of metrics in the traveling data. In response to the determination, the server computer may generate a notification to transmit to the user based on whether the user is traveling within a city or on a highway and transmit the notification to the mobile device associated with the user.

In some examples, a computing device receives a request for items for an anchor item. The computing device determines a relevancy of a plurality of recommended items and sponsored items. The computing device determines ranking values for the plurality of recommended items and sponsored items based on the relevancy values and the cost values, and ranks the items based on the ranking values. In some examples, the computing device updates the final item ranking based on the application of one or more rules. The computing device transmits the final item ranking to a web server. The web server displays advertisements for the items in ranked order.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A wireless signal from a POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide the unique identifier in the wireless signal and a retail location of the mobile device to a remote server. The retail location of the mobile device may he provided by a mobile application (e.g., a retailer app) on the mobile device. The remote server may determine the retail location of the POP display by associating the retail location of the mobile device with the wireless beacon.

Abstract: A system may receive information representing a first item and an item price of the first item from a first user device operated by a buyer. The first item may be available for sale by a merchant of a brick-and-mortar store. A plurality of sellers may be identified, the plurality of sellers may list a second item as being available for sale at the calculated reduced item price in an item listing for the second item. Moreover, the second item may be similar to the first item. A reduced item price may be calculated based on the item price of the first item received from the user device, the reduced item price representing a price lower than the item price of the first item. The item listing for the second item available for sale may be presented to the first user device operated by the buyer.

Abstract: Successful application of a coupon code on an e-commerce website is detected via network request tracking and page data tracking. Upon coupon application, the coupon code is stored, for example in a server-based database. The coupon code is then automatically applied to subsequent e-commerce purchases whose parameters match the requirements for the coupon. The coupon can be automatically applied to purchases made by the same user and/or other users, as applicable.
