Abstract: A method of early warning and risk assessment of incidents in a multi-tenant cloud environment is provided. The method includes: capturing a plurality of data metrics; automatically generating derived features from the plurality of captured data metrics; automatically selecting risk assessment features from the derived features and the captured data metrics; and predicting the risk of an incident in the multi-tenant cloud environment within a specified time window in the future and one or more possible root causes of the incident by applying the newly selected risk assessment features to a trained risk assessment model. The trained risk assessment model has been trained using machine learning techniques to predict the risk of an incident in the multi-tenant cloud environment within a specified time window in the future, provide an explanation of possible root causes of the incident, and assign a strength level to each possible root cause.

Abstract: User data overlap determination in a digital medium environment is described. Initially, a user selects segments of user data for which a determination of overlap is to be made. For example, the user selects a segment representing users that are working professionals and a segment representing users that are mothers, such that working-mother users may correspond to the overlap. Regardless of the particular segments selected, an indication of those segments is received. One of multiple different overlap determining techniques—which can include a combined MinHash and HyperLogLog (HLL) technique and an Inclusion-Exclusion technique—may be selected for computing the overlap based on a number of segments indicated and numbers of users represented by the segments. The selected overlap determining technique is then used to compute the user data overlap between the indicated segments. Digital content including values indicative of the determined overlap is generated for presentation to a user.

The workload manager identifies based on the data representing the logical location of the target item one or more tasks that are configured to move the target item to the first location. The tasks can be performed to move the target items to the first location.

Transportation service requests may be assigned amongst multiple transportation service providers according to one or more transportation service request distribution models and various parameters and preferences for each user. Abstract: Most of the business intelligence and analytics applications uses a data model. Any change in the source field or in the key performance indicator (KPI) calculation changes result in long turn-around time and complex changes in the background coding of the data model. A method and system for handling the source field change and the key performance indicator (KPI) calculation change in the data model has been provided. The disclosure provides a data modelling design, in particular, for handling source field changes or additions and target KPI calculation changes without any impact on the data model. The solution section is divided in two areas so as to tackle the technical problem statement points. First part is the data ingestion and second is data reporting.

The computing device queries a second data source to receive data associated with a potential for a future data breach, and locally caches the data. Embodiments may include allowing a signer to join, via a graphical user interface associated with a first software client, a remote notary meeting. Embodiments may also include permitting a remote notary agent to control the remote notary meeting using a second software client. Embodiments may further include synchronizing one or more behaviors associated with the first software client and the second software client using an application programming interface (API).

Abstract: Reduction in latency between question submissions and response submissions in a question and answer based customer support system is reduced by facilitating the use of mobile devices by customer support personnel to submit question responses. The answerability of a question from a mobile device is predicted by analyzing the attributes of the question itself before the answer is generated. Questions being entered into the question and answer based customer support system that are conveniently answerable from a mobile device are routed to a mobile question and answer queue that enables mobile device users to review and respond to the mobile device answerable questions. A question is determined to be answerable from a mobile device if a predicted answer to the question has a length that is within a predetermined threshold, so that customer support personnel are not burdened with generating long responses from mobile devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for connection multiplexing in a parallel processing environment. An example method includes requesting, responsive to a request to perform multiple database operations in a single transaction, a connection identifier for a physical connection to the database, providing the connection identifier to each of a plurality of workers, and performing the multiple database operations using the plurality of workers. Each worker may obtain a work item from a work queue, initiate a database request for the work item, and provide the database request to a database server. The database request represents one of the multiple database operations and includes the connection identifier. The database server may determine that the connection identifier corresponds to the physical connection, add the request to a connection queue associated with the physical connection, and execute requests from the connection queue against the database via the physical connection.

Abstract: A personal communication system generates a request for initial schedule information corresponding to an initial workforce schedule generated by an enterprise analysis system. The personal communication system transmits the request for initial schedule information to the enterprise analysis system and receives a response including the initial schedule information. The personal communication system then generates a view of the initial workforce schedule based on the initial schedule information and displays the view of the initial workforce schedule in a primary application running on the personal communication system. The personal communication system then monitors for schedule factors relevant to the initial workforce schedule and transmits the schedule factors for use by the enterprise analysis system in generating an updated workforce schedule.
