Abstract: Techniques are described for automating aspects of the property condition monitoring process to efficiently determine a present property condition, and perform various actions associated with the determined property condition. In some implementations, a first set of image data for a region of the property is obtained prior to a start of the rental period. A determination that the rental period has ended at the property is made. A second set of image data for the region of the property is obtained in response to the determination. A representation of a difference between the first set of image data and the second set of image data is determined. An indication of the representation of the difference between the first set of image data and the second set of image data is provided for output to a computing device of a user associated with the property.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a computerized system and method for syndicating independent review and rating information for use by third parties. In one aspect, the present invention includes a method and system for allowing web site operators to cause syndicated ratings from an independent rating provider to appear on web pages generated in response to requests to the operators' web sites, while preserving the independence of the content of the ratings and providing assurance to the viewing public of that independence. Aspects of the present invention allow for ratings from an independent rating provider to be provided in real time and further assists the rating provider in obtaining additional ratings through the web site operators' web pages.

Abstract: A method for managing reusable BPM assets can be provided. The method can include selecting a process in a process model in a process modeling tool, retrieving a list of BPM assets in a repository of reusable BPM assets dependent upon the selected process and selecting individual ones of the BPM assets for importation into the process modeling tool in association with the selected process. Finally, the method can include importing into the process modeling tool the selected individual ones of the BPM assets from the repository of reusable BPM assets over a computer communications network.

Abstract: An online education platform manages and integrates a number of education services for users of the platform, including job recall services. These job recall services include management and distribution of job recall materials that test whether job applicants have acquired desired knowledge or skills for a particular job opening or class of jobs. The job recall materials are uploaded to the education platform and mapped to one or more learning units. Each learning unit is associated with an educational course and includes a distinct concept in the associated course. Responsive to a user of the education platform completing the learning unit to which a job recall material is mapped, the job recall material is recommended to the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses method and guidance providing system for providing real-time guidance to users during troubleshooting of devices. The guidance providing system receives user input indicating troubleshooting actions on device, by user, where user input comprises textual input and non-textual input, identifies object in device associated with troubleshooting actions and state of user while performing troubleshooting actions, from non-textual input. The object identified from non-textual input is mapped with textual input to obtain mapped user input. Consistency of mapped user input is verified based on conversation information and domain specific content associated with device. Sequence of instructions corresponding to mapped user input, based on state of user and one or more similar troubleshooting actions, may be extracted from knowledge database.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that improve job posting structure and presentation by, for example, classifying portions of job postings into informative sections. As an example, given a job posting, a computing system implementing aspects of the present disclosure can separate the job posting into multiple portions. After separation into portions, the computing system can classify each portion into the most plausible job-posting-specific section. For example, the computing system can include and implement a machine-learned classification model to classify the portions into the sections. Following classification, the computing system can modify the job posting based on the classification of the portions. In particular, the structure and/or presentation of the job posting can be improved based on the classification of the portions into the sections.

Abstract: A machine implemented method and system for managing variation and customization of content or touchpoints for customer communications management. The touchpoint has a plurality of message zones able to receive messages from variants. Variants are selected from a database by a variant selector operating on a document composition server. The variants are selected based on selector data. The messages of the selected variant are placed into the message zones of the touchpoint and rendered for distribution to customer devices. When a variant at a higher level in the hierarchy is edited by the content creator, the system automatically updates dependent variants.

Abstract: A system for exchanging event tickets, including a database, a computing device, one or more mobile devices, including a seller's mobile device and a buyer's mobile device, a network connecting the computing device and the one or more users' mobile devices, a plurality of modules including authentication module, a geolocation information module for tracking geolocations of the one or more users' mobile devices, a tickets information module, a notifications module, a negotiations platform module, and a confirmation platform module for facilitating an exchange of tickets, wherein the geolocation information module tracks the geolocations of the one or more users' mobile devices and verifies that the geolocations of the seller's mobile device and the buyer's mobile device are within a same venue as a prerequisite to the confirmation platform module facilitating an exchange of tickets.

Abstract: A system and method for determining a level of empathy of an employment candidate is provided. One aspect includes receiving video input, audio input, and behavioral data input of an interview for each of a plurality of candidates. Behavioral data is extracted from the behavioral data input. An audiovisual interview file is saved in a candidate database. In response to receiving a request to view a candidate profile, the system selects one candidate from among a plurality of candidates, the selecting based at least in part on the empathy score of the selected candidate. In another aspect, a candidate can answer multiple questions during a video interview. The behavioral data extracted from a first portion of the video interview can be compared to behavioral data from a second portion of the video interview.

Abstract: Techniques are described for routing service requests, in a service environment, based on a category of a previously terminated service session. A category is determined for a first service session involving an individual, the category being a topic, question, and/or problem discussed during the first service session. An activity record may be stored that identifies the individual and the category of the first service session. If the first service session is terminated, a reconnection dialog can be presented to request a reconnection. A second service request may be sent based on the selection through the reconnection dialog. Responsive to receiving the second service request, the activity record may be accessed and used to determine the category of the previous service session. The service request can then be automatically routed to a service representative suited to handle requests in that particular category.

Abstract: An automated emergency response method and system to remotely and timely update emergency response protocols, such as Emergency Medical Dispatch Protocol Reference Systems (EMDPRS), is provided. A method and system to remotely and timely update the EMDPRS in a controlled, consistent and timely manner is also provided. A method that can provide accurate, up-to-date and consistent EMDPRS provides the advantage of increasing operator readiness and efficiency in responding to an emergency, and increases the chances of success in dealing with the emergency.

A pool of homes is assembled based on the first data, which includes a plurality of properties. The pool of homes is displayed, and a route for viewing the properties is determined. Feedback regarding the properties is received, and the pool of homes and/or the route is modified based on the received feedback.

Abstract: Hybrid classification system and method are described. The method commences when an input detector detects a raw input string that represents a value of a category in a member profile maintained by the on-line social network. The machine learning classifier derives a standardized value corresponding to the raw input string. The trigger module provides the raw input string to the correcting filter. The correcting filter determines a corrected standardized value corresponding to the raw input string based on the raw input string and a corrective rule. The label module then identifies the member profile as associate with the corrected standardized value.

Abstract: An approach is provided for normalizing reviews. A user's request is received for a view of reviews of a first product. An identity of the user is determined. Based on the identity, data is retrieved specifying a behavior of the user which describes usage by the user of a second product. Based on the data specifying the behavior of the user, topics are identified which specify (i) a behavior of reviewer(s), where the behavior is directed to the first product and matches the behavior of the user specified by the retrieved data or (ii) an aspect of the first product which matches an aspect of the second product to which the behavior of the user is directed. The reviews are normalized based on the identified topics.
