The kitchen comprises a storage apparatus to store ingredient containers, a transfer apparatus to move ingredient containers, and one or more cooking stations. Each vehicle is configured to move one or more food containers from cooking stations to dining tables. A tracking system comprises video cameras, lidars, etc., which are fixedly mounted. The tracking system can dynamically map out the fixtures, humans and vehicles in the restaurant. Information from the tracking system is used to control the motion of the vehicles. The tracking system can dynamically track the positions of customers in the customer-tracking area, so that foods ordered by specific customers may be automatically sent by vehicles to the customers' locations.

The analytic server executes an extraction protocol to extract the order data within each electronic messages and stores the extracted data into a database. The analytic server generates a machine-readable file for each merchant comprising all the order records for the same merchant received from different third-party service provider computers. The analytic server transmits the machine-readable file to the merchant computing device, which populates a GUI according to the machine-readable file. Because all the orders are in one spot, the merchant may manage the orders, perform statistical calculations, and generate sales reports more efficiently.

Similarly, the ECR emulation hub can request product price data from the master ECR, local or master computers. Once the product price data arrives at the ECR emulation hub, it can be processed and sent to a display, which will be located near the appropriate product. The ECR emulation hub can also record and/or transmit prices actually charged for products over time to allow for automatic auditing of promotional pricing offers such as those made by manufacturers of the product.
