Abstract: A flow tagging technique includes tagging a data flow at a plurality of points in the data flow. For example, the data flow can be tagged at a socket and at a proxy manager API. By tagging the data flow at multiple points, it becomes possible to map network service usage activities to the appropriate initiating applications.

Abstract: Techniques and arrangements for facilitating synchronization of open ticket functionality utilized by point-of-sale (POS) devices with kitchen display systems. In some example, a POS device associated with a merchant receives customer orders associated with transaction between the merchant and customer(s). The customer orders originate both from user input to the POS device and from an application(s) executing on a separate device. The POS sends the customer orders to a kitchen display system (KDS) associated with the merchant. The KDS aggregates the orders and, responsive to the aggregating, causes presentation of the orders.

Abstract: Systems and methods that can verify transactions based upon location disparity between an account holder and POS (point of sale) as well as identity of a customer are provided. The system can employ camera-equipped drones or other image capture mechanisms to perform identity verification on behalf of a financial entity, cardholder or merchant. Further, the innovation provides systems and methodologies by which allegedly fraudulent or suspect transactions can be blocked or further investigated in real- or near real-time so as to assist in loss mitigation and potentially identification of fraudsters.

Abstract: A framework is provided for blockchain-based customer dispute management of wholesale telecommunications claims. A network device receives a telecommunication claim to dispute an invoice from a provider network. The provider network and a partner network that includes the network device are related through a wholesale telecommunications agreement. The network device validates the telecommunication claim based on information in a distributed ledger of the distributed consensus network. The distributed ledger includes transaction information generated by the provider network for the partner network under the wholesale telecommunications agreement. The network device adjudicates the telecommunication claim based on information in the distributed ledger and instructions in a contract and updates the distributed ledger with the adjudicated claim.

Abstract: Techniques and arrangements for facilitating synchronizing data structures between devices using application programming interfaces (APIs) are described. In some examples, two devices may try to synchronize a data structure between one another by sending and receiving data for the data structure. However, each device may include hardware and/or software that is different than, and not compatible with, the other device. As such, the application describes a service that provides a first device an API for sending the service information for a transaction. The service uses the information to create a data structure for the transaction, and then sends the data structure to a second device. The second device can receive data structure from the service. After receiving the data structure, the service can process the transaction.

Abstract: Embodiments automatically select one of the multiple pre-generated payment cards provisioned on a mobile device. The multiple pre-generated payment cards (real or virtual) may each have a different credit limit. The mobile device may automatically select one of the multiple payment cards based on a transaction value of a transaction that is being conducted. An available credit limit of the selected payment card may be equal to or slightly greater than the transaction value. In some embodiments, the available credit limit of the selected payment card may be closer to the transaction value than the available credit limits of the remaining payment cards. In some embodiments, the different payment cards may be provisioned in a chip-and-pin based smart credit card or mobile wallet.

As store are selected for performing an inventory, instructions to perform pre-counts of specific items are sent. As the pre-count begins, videos, text, or other materials needed to perform a complete pre-count are distributed to the store associate performing the pre-count task. If the pre-count is outside pre-defined thresholds, an additional task to re-count the item may be assigned. Based on these actions, the set of rules used to identify when the re-count should occur can be modified.
