  • Patent number: 11546552
Abstract: A system and method for real-life interactive experience between virtual participants in a gathering of up to thousands of people attending a streamed event, using their computers and mobile devices. The virtual participants sit at boxes and tables at the event and see video and hear audio of other participants sitting at the same table and box. The participants interact with other participants of their choosing without disturbing the rest of the participants. They can use local chat boxes and global chat boxes to chat with the participants of the event. The participants may virtually move from one area to another area of the event using the event layout and sit in a new area of their choosing as they would at an in-person event while watching the streaming of the event thus providing a close to real-life experience of interacting with the event participants.

  • Patent number: 11528162
Abstract: Techniques for using a trip flag to detect desynchronization of trip counter values in a vehicle system. Techniques include a first electronic control unit (ECU) receiving a synchronization message including a trip counter and receiving a message from a second ECU including a trip flag. The trip flag includes a single bit of data generated by the second ECU. The first ECU compares the trip flag to a last bit of the trip counter stored at the first electronic control unit and processes the message in response to the trip flag matching the trip counter. The first ECU compares the trip counter to a previous trip counter based on the trip flag differing from the trip counter. The first ECU processes the message using the previous trip counter or increments the trip counter to process the message based on the comparison with the previous trip counter.

  • Patent number: 11507860
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to infer, using a machine learned model, a service protocol of a server based on the banner data produced by the server. In embodiments, the machine learned model is implemented by a network scanner configured to receive banner data from open ports on servers. A received banner is parsed into a set of features, such as the counts or presence of particular characters or strings in the banner. In embodiments, certain types of banner content such as network addresses, hostnames, dates, and times, are replaced with special characters. The machine learned model is applied to the features to infer a most likely protocol of the server port that produced the banner. Advantageously, the model can be trained to perform the inference task with high accuracy and without using human-specified rules, which can be brittle for unconventional banner data and carry undesired biases.

  • Patent number: 11461196
Abstract: The present invention provides a System and method for multi-tiered data synchronization. Data is synchronized between a master synchronization server, one or more proxy synchronization servers, and client devices. Client devices establish synchronization sessions with either a proxy synchronization server or a master synchronization server, depending on which server provides the “best” available connection to that client device. Each proxy synchronization server synchronizes data with client devices that have established a synchronization session with such proxy synchronization server. The master synchronization server synchronizes data with client devices that have established a synchronization session with the master synchronization server. Each proxy synchronization server synchronizes data with the master synchronization server. Metadata associated with synchronized files is synchronized throughout the system in real-time. Files may be synchronized in real-time or of a delayed time.

  • Patent number: 11451599
Abstract: A method (300) and device (200) with intelligent media management is disclosed. The method (300) can include: streaming (310) media content in a wireless communication device; identifying (320) a media signature of the streamed media content; searching (330) a stored library for the identified media signature; and playing (340) locally stored media content, if the search results in finding a match with the identified media signature in the stored library. Thus, when a match occurs, locally stored media content replaces the streamed media content, to provide substantially lower power consumption and enhanced battery life in connection with wireless communication devices.

  • Patent number: 11425005
Abstract: An anomaly detector of a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus performs analysis on messages received from the CAN bus to determine if the messages are anomalous. The anomaly detector may be implemented on a vehicle by an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The anomaly detector may extract a batch of feature vectors for binary messages received from the CAN bus. The anomaly detector then performs a model adaption to adapt a previous probability model with the batch of feature vectors. The adapted probability model is then compared with a universal background model to determine a network anomaly level.
