Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with antennas for receiving signals in first and second ultra-wideband communications bands. The antennas may include a resonating element formed from conductive traces on a dielectric substrate. The substrate may be mounted to an underlying flexible printed circuit. A fence of conductive vias may extend from the resonating element, through the substrate and the flexible printed circuit, to a ground plane on the flexible printed circuit. The fence may form a return path for the antenna. A shielding ring may be formed on the substrate. Additional fences of vias may couple the shielding ring to the ground plane. If desired, the resonating element may include a patch that is not shorted to the ground plane. The fences of vias, the conductive traces, and the ground plane may form a continuous antenna cavity for the resonating element.

  • Patent number: 11382197
Abstract: Simple, reliable and inexpensive application-wise system for obtaining information on the status of apparatus connected to a “lighting power line.” System of obtaining information is completely immune to disturbances since nothing additional is introduced into the grid. Information is detected in a substation or an electric lighting enclosure i.e. at the power supply source in standard classical measurement methods. During the activation of LED lighting fixtures on each power line, power-time curves or current-time curves are measured and recorded for the corresponding energy power line, and from them a start diagram is derived after activating all lighting fixtures on that particular power line, and this diagram is used for comparing the status on each individual power line, and then the derived start diagram is compared with the initial diagram of the power-time curve or current-time curve for the corresponding power line.

  • Patent number: 11375590
Abstract: A luminaire adapted to apply an auto-gradient effect across pixels has an interface coupled by a connection to a controller. The controller has electronic circuitry that receives a predetermined start light parameter for a start pixel of a luminaire and receives a predetermined end light parameter for an end pixel of the first luminaire, the predetermined end light parameter greater than the predetermined start light parameter. The controller circuitry then automatically interpolates a gradient effect for a middle light parameter of each of a plurality of middle pixels of the luminaire based on the start and end predetermined light parameters. The controller circuitry then outputs control signals having the start, end and middle light parameters to the start, end and middle light pixels, respectively, through the connection and to the interface.

  • Patent number: 11375591
Abstract: In an auto vibrancy mode, a vibrancy value for a lighting load may be automatically determined based on a selected color setting for the lighting load. The automatically determined vibrancy value may also be configured to emit light from the lighting load at or above a target CRI value for the selected color setting. The selected color setting may be a CCT value on the black-body curve or an x-y chromaticity value. If the selected color setting is CCT value on the black-body curve, the automatically determined vibrancy value may be a pre-defined vibrancy value that is configured to emit light from the lighting load at or above the target CRI value for the selected CCT value. If the selected color setting is an x-y chromaticity value, the automatically determined vibrancy value may be based on the distance between the selected x-y chromaticity value and the black-body curve.

  • Patent number: 11375594
Abstract: A LED lighting circuit has a plurality of LED segments connected in series. A switching arrangement is used to selectively bypass at least one LED segment to implement a tapped linear driver approach. Degrading of a component in the LED lighting circuit is detected, so that a first TLD current modulation scheme is implemented when no such degrading is detected whereas a second current modulation scheme, different from the first current modulation scheme, is implemented to compensate for said degrading. Said degrading is leading to an increase in a turning on voltage of one LED segment, and compared to said first current modulation scheme, said second current modulation scheme has a higher voltage threshold at which said LED segment is switched. In this way, protection may be provided for circuit components and the light output may be maintained at the desired level in the event of component degrading, such as LED chip failure or contact resistance changes.
