Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for displaying multidimensional data in a decomposition tree. The decomposition tree may include a plurality of levels, with the first level including a parent node representing the multidimensional data and the subsequent levels including one or more nodes representing a subset of the data repressed by the parent node along dimensions selected by a user. The decomposition tree may include nodes belonging to the same dimension in different levels of the decomposition tree. A node in the decomposition tree may be split by more than one dimension inside a same subsequent level.

Abstract: A method for generating coalesced notification data includes receiving first message data that is configured to be processed to display a first message. The method includes receiving second message data, which is configured to be processed to display a second message. The method further includes determining whether the first message data and the second message data are associated with a social group and merging the first message data and the second message data to generate coalesced notification data, which is processed to display a coalesced notification at the client device. The coalesced notification provides controls to display an interface that includes a first portion of the first message and a second portion of the second message in a unified list.

Abstract: A method for navigating an interactive menu including a first number of selectable items in a virtual environment. The method includes: providing a grid on a delimited portion of a plane in the virtual environment, the grid including locations equal to the first number; providing plural navigation directions within the grid and arranging each menu item on a respective location of the grid according to an item-grid arrangement, adjacencies along the navigation directions among grid items determine corresponding adjacency relationships; determining adjacency relationships along the navigation directions among items located on borders of the delimited portions; shooting a first item in close-up, enabling its selection; receiving a navigation command identifying a navigation direction along which a second selectable item is located, and altering the item-grid arrangement to relocate the items in different grid locations based on the received navigation command to shoot the second item in close-up.

Abstract: Systems and methods for organizing and displaying data structures in computing devices are provided herein. An exemplary method may include generating a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes at least one parent icon arranged into a primary frame according to a layout, receiving a selection of the at least one parent icon, transforming at least one parent icon into a secondary frame within the GUI and shrinking the at least one parent icon, and populating the primary frame with at least one child icon which is linked to the at least one parent icon, the at least one child icon being larger in size compared to the at least one parent icon.

Abstract: Correspondence is determined among i) groups in a first version of one or more groups of related tables and ii) groups in a second version of one or more groups of related tables. The tables have schema and table names and determining the correspondence includes matching groups that have matching tables, wherein the matching tables have matching schema and table names. A user interface is displayed, including first and second portions. A group name list is displayed for the one or more groups of the first version in the first user interface portion and of the second version in the second portion. A list of one or more tables within each respectively displayed group is displayed. Within each group of the first version the one or more table names are in visual alignment with respective matching one or more table names of the respective corresponding group of the second version.

Abstract: A system and method for handling reusable graphical components in a dynamic environment. A configuration is buffered in a computer system. An object corresponding to a graphical component is instantiated and assigned a level within the graphical hierarchy. The object is configured based on its location in the hierarchy from the buffered configuration. The object reads its parent identifier from a level buffer based solely on its assigned level and writes its object identifier into the level buffer in association with its assigned level.

Abstract: This invention is directed to defining quick groups for easily associating keywords with an object (e.g., a media objection) accessible using an electronic device. The user of an electronic device may define several keywords that identify attributes of an object accessible using the electronic device. The user may associate keywords with an object to link the attribute of the keyword with the object (e.g., associate a keyword entitled “vacation” to vacation pictures). The user may assign a shortcut key to each of a subset of the keywords, referred to as quick groups, by which the user may rapidly associate the keyword to an object. In some embodiments, the electronic device may select the shortcut key of a quick group from the letters of the quick group to help the user remember the shortcut key.

The software development kit includes computer executable program instructions for generating a wrapper view object that wraps an advertising corner control view object. The kit allows an application developer to create an application interface and wrap it in the wrapper view object. When the resulting computer executable instructions are executed, a user interface is displayed with an advertising corner control interface area and an application interface area. The user can select the advertising corner control interface area using a first selection technique to display an advertising interface area and remove the advertising control interface area and the application interface area. The user can select the advertising corner control interface area using a second technique to remove the application corner control interface area while continuing to display the application interface area.

The for-your-information event can include an event time field that indicates a scheduled time for the for-your-information event. The computer system may not automatically block the scheduled time of the for-your-information event on a calendar in response to receiving the for-your-information event. User input indicating that the for-your-information event is to be converted to a regular event can be received. In response to the user input, the computer system can convert the for-your-information event to a regular event. Converting the for-your information event can include automatically including the scheduled time of the for-your-information event as a scheduled time for the converted regular event. Also in response to the user input, the computer system can automatically block the scheduled time of the for-your-information event on the calendar.

Each conflicting calendar invitation in the group of conflicting calendar invitations is presented in association with other calendar invitations in the group for resolution.

A server of the computer system includes a storage subsystem that stores two or more items of different personalized information about multiple different users, including different user identifications and passwords associated with the user identifications respectively representing the users. The home page can include a meeting page element and content area elements. The meeting page element can link to at least one meeting presentation page. Content area elements can link to at least one content selection page which can include one or more selection controls. Selection controls can correspond to a respective content portion and can have a state indicating the selection status of the corresponding content portion. Abstract: A display system includes a processing device for graphic representation of alarm reports from measured values of a technical plant or process. Measurement points of the measured values each respectively have a hierarchically structured identifier held in the processing device. The processing device decomposes the hierarchically structured identifiers into hierarchical levels of different significance, selects the identifiers of the hierarchical levels with the highest significance, and transmits them to a preconfigured mass alarm display unit. The identifiers of the hierarchical levels with the highest significance can be assigned to a correspondingly identified area within an overview image of the plant or process of the preconfigured mass alarm display unit.
