Abstract: A generalized application virtualization platform and method are provided for business use on the web and a mini server. The method includes: (1) Initializing, application monitoring, registration and login; (2) Accessing to a server via Access protocol from a client-side SOD (software on-demand) controller; (3) Content selecting via keyword search, with the selected contents provided by a content management protocol; (4) Choosing one of the available application virtualization methods according to bandwidth needed by the user and the resources consumed in a data center; (5) Binding of the executable software for the application virtualization method and the contents selected, and running the executable software; and (6) Metering and billing: Meter the start and end time of the execution of application virtualization method and calculate the billing.

The system may provide a virtual wardrobe management system. The system may store wardrobe data associated with a plurality of garments. The system may then receive input data indicative of a garment selection. The system may identify the garment based on the input data received. The system may then generate a garment recommendation based on the selected garment and the stored wardrobe data and provide an indication of the recommendation to a computing device.

Abstract: Augmented reality interaction is described, combining online virtual resource allocation and management with consumption and image scanning operations of a user at a target place. Consumption data of a user is obtained. A quantity of virtual resources corresponding to the user are allocated to the user based on a consumption amount, and then accumulated. A determination is made whether a predetermined identifier corresponding to the target place is identified from image information of a scanned real-world image obtained through image scanning. Virtual data related to the virtual resources in the virtual resource pool is delivered from the augmented reality server to the augmented reality client device. The augmented reality client device is configured to perform augmented display of the related virtual data by overlaying and combining the virtual data with the image information at a location corresponding to the predetermined identifier in the scanned real-world image.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for receiving a plurality of item submissions from a plurality of mobile user devices (each item submission of the plurality of item submissions including: item identifier data indicative of an item; and item location data indicative of a location of the item), determining a determined location for the item (using the respective item location data for each of the plurality of item submissions), and storing the determined location for the item in an item location database. The determined location for the item is stored in association with an item identifier corresponding to the item, and the item location database stores determined locations for a plurality of items.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing a mixed-cart solution for an in-store app. An embodiment operates by receiving a request to add an item from a physical store to an associate shopping cart associated with an account. It is determined that the account is additionally associated with an online shopping cart associated with the store, and that the requested item does not exist in the online shopping cart. It selected item is added to the associate shopping cart. Both the online shopping cart and the associate shopping cart are provided to a computing device configured to simultaneously display both the online shopping cart and the associate shopping cart.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards recommending a shoe and insole combination for a consumer. A variety of shoe information, insole information, and consumer foot information may be determined, which may include heel width, a width or shape, a length, a height, and arch characteristics. The foot information, the shoe information for a plurality of shoes, and the insole information for a plurality of insoles may be compared to determine at least one combination of shoe and insole that is compatible with the consumer's foot. Based on this comparison of foot information, shoe information, and insole information, a recommendation of at least one shoe and insole combination may be determined and provided to a user and/or the consumer.

Abstract: A method for providing a customized skin care product to a customer. The method includes obtaining skin information from a consumer regarding current skin conditions. A skin condition is generated in response to the skin information. An ingredient is selected corresponding to the skin condition. A compatibility profile is generated corresponding to all previously selected ingredients. The generating skin conditions, selecting the ingredient and generating the compatibility profile are repeated until a sufficient number of ingredients are selected to provide a formulation that includes a base and at least two booster compositions that, when mixed, form a skin care composition that is stable and has efficacious concentrations of active ingredients corresponding to skin conditions of a consumer. The formulation comprising the ingredients selected is generated and a cosmetic dispensing system dispenses the ingredients of the formulation.

Abstract: In a system and method for searching, browsing, and visualizing items, a first image containing an item is received to be stored in an account associated with a user. The first image is processed using a processor to extract an image of the item from the first image. The image of the item is layered over a stream of video frames received from the client device to form a superimposed image. The superimposed image is caused to be displayed on the client device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to modify content in accordance with a query and based at least in part on semantic relationships between terms in the content and query. An initial determination is performed for first identifiers from a query. A further determination is performed for a first semantic relationship that includes a first measure between the first identifiers. A second semantic relationship with second measures of relationships is determined between each of the identifiers and a plurality of terms in a database of terms. A search is performed of a content database using the first identifiers. Retrieved titles associated with a match from the search are subject to modification in their respective titles based at least in part on the first measure and the second measures. Content with the modified title is provided to a client device.

Abstract: An electronic service image marketplace for service images is provided that permits users to browse descriptions of service images implementing desired functionalities of a virtual machine image. The described service images may be further offered for purchase through the electronic service image marketplace. An operational data service, in communication with the electronic service image marketplace, may collect operational data from a plurality of host computing devices executing the selected service image. The operational data service may further analyze the collected operational data to obtain an aggregate measure of operational data for the selected service image when executed by host computing devices. The analyzed operational data may be further provided to the electronic service image marketplace for display within the description of the selected service image.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for facilitating item bundles. An item bundle includes more than one item from an item universe that can be bundled together. Abstract: A system and method for adjusting content in a virtual environment based on dwell time in physical spaces is disclosed. The method includes defining, by a zone-to-virtual content mapping module, a zone in a physical space and tagging the defined zone with descriptive information. The method may also include detecting, by a mobile device detection module, a mobile device within the zone, as well as the dwell time of the device. Additionally, the method may include, by a virtual content ranking module, assigning an interest level to the dwell time and assigning a ranking to an element of content in a virtual environment that corresponds to the interest level. The interest level can be stored in a user profile. Elements of content can be adjusted in the virtual environment according to their assigned ranking, and they can be displayed to a user.

Following an interaction with a particular uniform control object, the electronic marketplace can perform an action on a particular service image based on an association between the particular uniform control object and a particular instruction set associated with the particular service image.

Using a pre-defined reverse mapping, a mapping server populates a master attribute table from product attributes and taxonomy categorizations defined in a source schema. Using a pre-defined assignment mapping, the mapping server maps the master attributes in the master attribute table to product attributes and taxonomy categorizations in the target schema.
