  • Patent number: 9201582
Abstract: A display control apparatus includes a display control means. In the display control apparatus, the display control means is configured to scroll-display a plurality of contents. If it is determined that the speed of the scroll display has increased to reach a first predetermined value, then the display control means classifies and groups the plurality of contents by using group classification information corresponding to the plurality of contents and displays the grouped contents. On the other hand, if it is determined that the scroll speed has decreased to reach a second predetermined value, then the display control means sorts the plurality of contents in order according to a selected grouping method and displays group classification information images at a group classification level one stage lower than the current group classification level.

  • Patent number: 9182948
Abstract: Navigating hierarchical levels of a design using graphical preview images. In one aspect, a method for providing a preview image for a design includes causing a display of a main image depicting a first portion of the design, the design organized into multiple hierarchical levels, each level having a different amount of abstraction of graphical information of the design. A preview image smaller than the main image is displayed, portraying a second portion of the design at a different hierarchical level than the first portion. The preview image is receptive to a selection causing the second portion to be displayed as the main image. Some embodiments allow the preview image to include one or more hotspots that cause a display of another preview image at a different hierarchical level, or to show a connected object connected to a probed first object.

  • Patent number: 9178754
Abstract: A system and method for anomaly detection and presentation. The method of anomaly detection and presentation comprises receiving information for a plurality of traits from a plurality of servers. A first server has fewer of the plurality of traits than a second server. A first trait is on fewer of the plurality of servers than a second trait. The plurality of servers is rendered in a graphical display wherein the first server is positioned to one side of the second server based on respective numbers of traits had by the first and second servers. The first trait is rendered in the graphical display to one side of the second trait based on respective numbers of systems having the first and second traits. A table may be displayed in a cell in response to a user request. Anomalous traits may be displayed in an anomaly table.

  • Patent number: 9098288
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide an interactive tool that allows users to design and evaluate storage mechanisms while program code executes. For example, an embodiment uses compact histogram density scales (CHDS's) to display count information for bins making up the storage mechanism (e.g., a register). The user can determine whether counts are within a desirable range, exceeding an overflow threshold, or exceeding an underflow threshold for a bin. Embodiments allow the user to observe overflow/underflow thresholds, signedness, word lengths, fraction lengths, etc., while program code that interacts with the register executes.

  • Patent number: 9075434
Abstract: A system for translating user motion into multiple object responses of an on-screen object based on user interaction of an application executing on a computing device is provided. User motion data is received from a capture device from one or more users. The user motion data corresponds to user interaction with an on-screen object presented in the application. The on-screen object corresponds to an object other than an on-screen representation of a user that is displayed by the computing device. The user motion data is automatically translated into multiple object responses of the on-screen object. The multiple object responses of the on-screen object are simultaneously displayed to the users.
