Abstract: Systems, methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for collecting access point telemetry. A first access point is identified that is associated with a single instance on a pod. A hash identifier is identified, where the hash identifier identifies a radio frequency (RF) neighborhood of the first access point based on a geographical location of the first access point. Subsequent access point members of the RF neighborhood are dynamically determined by dynamically assigning a second access point to the RF neighborhood, the dynamic assignment based on the second access point being within a threshold geographical location to the first access point. Telemetry from the second access point is directed towards the single instance on the pod, where the pod receives telemetry for all access points in the dynamically determined RF neighborhood.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for managing resources among clusters of computing devices in a computing system. Resource reassignment message are generated for indicating that servers are reassigned and in response to resource compute loads exceed or fall below certain thresholds. Techniques also include establishing communications with the reassigned servers to assign compute loads without physically relocating the servers from one cluster to another cluster.

Abstract: A method for mitigating cold starts in recommendations includes receiving a request that identifies a requested page and identifying a content vector of the requested page. The content vector is generated based on providing text of the requested page to a neural network text encoder. The method further includes selecting, based on the content vector, a link to a cold start page that does not satisfy a threshold level of interaction data. The selected link is ranked above a second link to a warm page that does satisfy the threshold level of the interaction data. The method further includes presenting the requested page with the selected link.

Abstract: A computing environment includes a computing service provider and an edge computing network that has computing and storage devices that extend computing resources of the computing service provider to remote users. An edge platform is configured to execute industry specific PaaS services and industry specific third-party applications. The edge platform communicates with an IoT edge service, inference engine, and IoT edge gateway that performs protocol conversion. The industry edge platform provides a standardized platform for enabling execution of the industry specific PaaS services and industry specific third-party applications.

Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods for behavioral modification of users in an online community where users store or share data to help one another reach informed decisions. One aspect of the invention provides a method for encouraging active participation in an online community. The method includes: receiving information from a first user regarding a topic, receiving a request from a second user for additional information desired from the first user, and sending a personalized message to the first user requesting the additional information. Another aspect of the invention provides a computer-readable medium whose contents cause a computer to perform a method for encouraging active participation in an online community. The method includes: receiving information from a first user regarding a topic; identifying additional information desired from the first user; and sending a personalized message to the first user requesting the additional information.

A plurality of media items are identified Media item metadata associated with the plurality of media items is obtained from the second network device and stored on the first network device. Media item content data associate with a first subset of the plurality of media items is obtained from the second network device and stored on the first network device. In this manner, only media item metadata associate with a second subset of the plurality of media items is stored on the first network device.

Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for resource mapping during URL changes in multi-tenant distributed computing systems. The distributed computing system may resolve a URL by using a tenant and/or site name extracted from the URL to retrieve an entry in a site map table. The entry includes an address to a database that contains the requested content. After a tenant or site name has been changed, or if the tenant or site have been moved, the distributed computing system will resolve pre-existing URLs to the old entry, resulting in a file not found error. In some embodiments, during an operation that changes a tenant or site name, a redirect URL containing the new tenant and/or site name is added to the old entry. When a request addressed to a URL containing the old tenant and/or site names is received, the distributed system sends a redirect response that includes the redirect URL.

Abstract: Embodiments disclose a method and a device for processing frequency converter monitoring data and a storage medium. An embodiment of the method includes: acquiring a script file containing a monitoring parameter specifying field and a storage location; parsing the script file to acquire the storage location and the monitoring parameter specifying field and determining the monitoring parameter specified by the monitoring parameter specifying field; collecting the monitoring data corresponding to the monitoring parameter; and storing the monitoring data in the storage location. The embodiments provide a script file based processing solution for frequency converter monitoring data, without no special tracking or debugging software tool required. Thus, the implementation complexity is reduced and the service cost and time are saved.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for computationally configuring computing devices and performing multi-layer cluster analysis. For example, the system can identify multiple layers of clusters of devices (e.g., shared hardware configuration, shared application configuration, number of applications, etc.) in a large scale infrastructure environment automatically. For each layer of the clusters of devices, parameters of these devices are provided to a machine learning model to produce an objective function (e.g., minimum number of devices, utilization under 80%, etc.), whose output can be provided to a datacenter operator or other user in the large scale infrastructure environment so they can make further configuration changes to the devices in each cluster.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing workload among server clusters is disclosed. According to certain embodiments, the system may include a memory storing instructions and a processor. The processor may be configured to execute the instructions to determine historical behaviors of the server clusters in processing a workload. The processor may also be configured to execute the instructions to construct cost models for the server clusters based at least in part on the historical behaviors. The cost model is configured to predict a processor utilization demand of a workload. The processor may further be configured to execute the instructions to receive a workload and determine efficiencies of processing the workload by the server clusters based at least in part on at least one of the cost models or an execution plan of the workload.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and software for caching tracking elements of network content are provided herein. In one example, a method of operating a cache node of a content delivery network that caches content for delivery to end user devices is provided. The method includes receiving content requests from an end user device for content cached by the cache node and responsively providing the content for delivery to the end user device, processing the content requests to determine a edge state that corresponds to the end user device, transferring information related to the edge state for delivery to at least one other cache node of the content delivery network for handling of content requests received at the at least one other cache node.

Abstract: Systems and methods may use models to generate predictions of specific access rights for users. Further, systems and methods may generate the predictions in an environment in which the availability of the specific access rights change frequently. The access rights, predicted using embodiments described herein, may be both available and associated with user affinities. An interface associated with the primary load management system may be configured to display the predicted access rights for a user operating a user device.

Abstract: A method for routing requests to a plurality of server clusters is disclosed. The method comprises establishing a first server cluster responding to requests concerning a first software via a first version of that software and to requests concerning a second software via a first version of that software, and a second server cluster responding to requests concerning the first software via a second version of that software and to requests concerning the second software via a second version of that software. A gateway router initially routes requests concerning the first and second software by default to the first server cluster. Upon receiving a request to change default routing of requests, a configuration of the gateway router is updated. Subsequent requests concerning the first software are routed to the second server cluster while subsequent request concerning the second software remain routed to the first server cluster.

Methods and systems include hardware and/or software that perform operations for sending to a content provider of an ICN network an access request for content in response to receiving a first content request from a client. The operations also include receiving from the content provider access control information for the content. The operations further include sending to the client a challenge. Additionally, the operations include receiving from the client an authorization of the content provider that includes information obtained by the client from the content provider based on the challenge. Furthermore, the operations include verifying the authorization received from the client using the access control information received from the content provider. Moreover, the operations include sending to the client the content.

Abstract: A method for repairing multicast/broadcast content via peer to peer communications, which includes receiving at least a part of a file transmitted by a wireless multicast/broadcast service (WMBS) session via an access ndownetwork; exchanging, via a peer to peer network, completion messages between the UE device and peer UE devices upon completion of the WMBS session; identifying an amount of the file received at the UE device, and amounts of the file received at each of peer UE devices based on the exchanged completion messages; sending repair data to repair the file on each peer UE devices in response to identifying that the UE device received the entire file; and sending repair data via the peer to peer network, obtained from the access network, in response to identifying that the UE device received less than the entire file and more of the file than each of the group of peer UE devices.

Abstract: An apparatus comprises at least one processing device configured to select a snapshot lineage comprising one or more snapshots of a storage volume comprising data stored on one or more storage devices of a storage system, the snapshot lineage comprising at least one cloud snapshot lineage, the at least one cloud snapshot lineage comprising at least a subset of the one or more snapshots of the storage volume that have been copied to cloud storage of at least one cloud external to the storage system. The at least one processing device is also configured to generate configuration data for accessing the at least one cloud snapshot lineage. The at least one processing device is further configured to transfer the configuration data to at least one additional processing device to enable the at least one additional processing device to access the at least one cloud snapshot lineage.
