  • Patent number: 11537571
Abstract: A request for performing a data storing operation directed to a database table that comprises a plurality of table columns is received. Columnar compression metadata is accessed to identify one or more table columns in the database table, each of the one or more table columns being designated to store compressed columnar values. The columnar compression metadata is used to apply one or more columnar compression methods to generate, from one or more uncompressed columnar values received with the request for the data storing operation, one or more compressed columnar values to be persisted in the one or more table columns in the database table. A database statement is executed to persist the one or more compressed columnar values in the one or more table columns in the database table.

  • Patent number: 11537632
Abstract: A method for facilitating real-time monitoring of changes in a database is provided. The method includes scanning a subsystem vector table for a database subsystem that is active on a logical partition; compiling a vector list that includes the active database subsystem; and dynamically generating, based on the vector list, a task for each of the active database subsystem. For each of the active database subsystem, the method further includes retrieving, from a module, a log that includes a parameter by executing the task; determining, by using a model, a deviation from an average operating state of the parameter based on the log; and determining whether the deviation meets a predetermined threshold for a predetermined period of time.

  • Patent number: 11537610
Abstract: Techniques are presented for applying fine-grained client-specific rules to divide (e.g., chunk) data statements to achieve cost reduction and/or failure rate reduction associated with executing the data statements over a subject dataset. Data statements for the subject dataset are received from a client. Statement attributes derived from the data statements are processed with respect to fine-grained rules and/or other client-specific data to determine whether a data statement chunking scheme is to be applied to the data statements. If a data statement chunking scheme is to be applied, further analysis is performed to select a data statement chunking scheme. A set of data operations are generated based at least in part on the selected data statement chunking scheme. The data operations are issued for execution over the subject dataset. The results from the data operations are consolidated in accordance with the selected data statement chunking scheme and returned to the client.

  • Patent number: 11531674
Abstract: Systems and methods for supporting rollback of changes made to target systems via an integration platform. Systems and methods can support reverting changes made to target applications via an integration platform (e.g., integration platform as a service (iPaaS)) with the help of a rollback activity. In order to aid the development and design of integration orchestrations, the integration platform can provide suggested rollback actions. In case of a failure in integration runtime, this rollback activity will revert changes made to the target applications prior to the point of fault. This helps ensure that systems remain in consistent state.

  • Patent number: 11500883
Abstract: The present invention includes systems and methods for retrieving information via a flexible and consistent targeted search model that employs interactive dynamic menu information retrieval techniques that provide context-specific functionality tailored to particular information channels, as well as to records within or across such channels, and other known state information. Users are presented with a consistent search interface among multiple tiers across and within a large domain of information sources, and need not learn different or special search syntax. A thin-client server-controlled architecture enables users of resource-constrained mobile communications devices to locate targeted information more quickly by entering fewer keystrokes and performing fewer query iterations and web page refreshes, which in turn reduces required network bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 11494391
Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for ranking search results. In some examples, a computing device receives item data identifying items for a search query provided by a user. The computing determines, for each item, a first value based on a relevance of the item to the search query. The computing device also determines user engagement data for the user, where the user engagement data identifies engagements by the user on a webpage. The computing device determines, for each item, a second value based on the user engagement data. In some examples, the computing device determines the first values and second values by executing one or more machine learning models. The computing device further determines a ranking of the plurality of items based on the first values and the second values. The computing may transmit the ranking of the plurality of items, such as to a web server.

  • Patent number: 11455277
Abstract: Systems and computer program products for highly available computing systems. Techniques for verifying a replicated snapshot integrity includes steps for storing a snapshot at a first computing system where the snapshot has a corresponding first data integrity value (e.g., a checksum). Another storing operation stores a replica snapshot as two or more portions at respective two or more computing nodes of a second computing system. A second data integrity value that corresponds to the snapshot that was stored at the two or more computing nodes is calculated. Corruption is detected by comparing the first data integrity value to the second data integrity value. Corruption of a to-be-assembled snapshot can be detected before incurring the cost of assembly of the two or more portions of a replica snapshot. Alternative snapshots that can be assembled from alternative portions are considered for assembly. Only uncorrupted snapshots are restored to a designated computing system.
