Abstract: A method and device are presented for delivering a voicemail message to a voicemail system associated with a user device. A first session initiation protocol (SIP) session may be initiated with a first SIP server. Upon receiving a provisional response from the first SIP server, a second SIP session may be initiated with a second SIP server. A response indicating that a call has been successfully established using either the first SIP session or the second SIP session is received. The SIP session in which the call was not established is terminated. Audio from the voicemail system received via the SIP session in which the call was established is analyzed to determine when the voicemail system may receive the voicemail message. The voicemail message is transmitted to the voicemail system via the SIP session in which the call was established.

Abstract: The present invention provides an IP telephone and the like capable of preventing a loss of the beginning part of a talk. A communication apparatus according to the present invention includes: a memory (110) configured to store communication data with a communication destination; and a control unit (120) configured to transmit and receive the communication data to and from the communication destination in each first duration and store the transmitted and received communication data in the memory (110), then output, after a communication session with an external recording apparatus that records the communication data is established, the communication data stored in the memory (110) to the external recording apparatus in each second duration that is shorter than the first duration.

Abstract: A method for maintaining contact information in a hearing impaired assisted user's communication device includes the steps of (a) providing a web site for altering assisted user contact information, (b) linking a proxy device to the web site, (c) receiving an identifier associated with the assisted user's device via the proxy device, (d) identifying an assisted user's device via the received identifier, (e) enabling the proxy device to be used to modify contact information for the assisted user associated with the received identifier, (f) starting a timer to time out a sync timeout period, (g) during the sync timeout period, receiving an indication via the assisted user's device confirming a desire to update the assisted user's contact information, (h) updating the assisted user's contact information, and (i) at the end of the timeout period, ceasing an indication that updated data is ready to be used from the assisted user's device.

Abstract: A data processing system for artificial intelligence-based setting of controls in an evaluation interface comprising a data store storing: a plurality of transactions; a plurality of completed evaluations, each completed evaluation including an indication of a transcript portion associated with an evaluation answer. The system determines a word or phrase common to a first set of transcript portions associated with the evaluation answer; creates a first set of auto answer parameters that includes the word or phrase; auto answers the question for a set of test transactions to generate an auto answer for each test transaction; and based on a determination that the first set of auto answer parameters auto answered the question with a threshold level of accuracy, configures an evaluation system to use the first set of auto answer parameters to preset an answer control in an evaluation operator interface.

One device includes a memory, and a processor configured to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to detect that an interface of a plurality of interfaces of the gateway device is connected to a control panel of a fire control system of a facility, select, from a plurality of communication protocol types included in the gateway device, a communication protocol type associated with the control panel to which the interface is connected, and communicate with the control panel to which the interface is connected using the selected communication protocol type.

Abstract: When a customer initiates an interaction with an interactive voice response (“IVR”) system, the customer may need to be transferred to a live agent. Apparatus and methods may formulate timing information for integrating a live agent into an interaction controlled by an artificial intelligence (“AI”) engine. The system may integrate machine generated responses into a customer interaction controlled by a live agent. The system may formulate timing information for intercepting the live agent with responses generated by the AI engine. The system may formulate the timing information using interactional analytics and preferences of a specific customer.

Abstract: Disclosed are a user terminal device for providing a call control and a control method therefor. A user terminal device according to the present invention comprises: a display; a first communication unit for communication with a first external device; a second communication unit for communication with a second external device; and a processor for: transmitting a call request received from the first external device to the second external device through the second communication unit; transmitting a response to the call request, which has been received from the second external device, to the first external device through the first communication unit; controlling the display to display a call user interface (UI), on the basis of the response to the call request; and when call data is received from the first external device, converting the call data into Internet protocol (IP) data and transmitting the converted IP data to the second external device through the second communication unit.

Abstract: Methods for detecting anomalies in a telecommunications network are provided. The methods include calculating a call duration for each of a plurality of calls associated with a corresponding call detail record (CDR). Each CDR provides details associated with a single call in a plurality of fields. Each of the plurality of calls are categorized based on the calculated call duration for each call such that each of the plurality of calls is assigned to a duration bin, each duration bin including calls having similar calculated call durations. The CDRs are grouped using the duration bins and at least one carrier and/or a telecommunications provider. A plurality of summary statistics are calculated for each of the plurality of CDR groups. The calculated plurality of summary statistics are analyzed to determine whether an anomaly is present. Among other remedial measures, an external ticket may be generated informing affected carriers when an anomaly is present.

Abstract: A method of signaling a reason for a downgrade of an enhanced call to an audio-only call. User equipment (UE) can engage, via a telecommunication network, in an enhanced call including audio content and additional content. The UE can generate a downgrade message that requests a downgrade of the enhanced call to an audio-only call that includes the audio content without the additional content. The downgrade message can include a downgrade reason indicator identifying whether the UE is automatically downgrading the enhanced call or whether the UE is instead downgrading the enhanced call due to user instructions. The UE can send the downgrade message to the telecommunication network.

Abstract: The disclosed technology provides a system and method for correlating events from a single application run in a cloud communications network using session identifiers uniquely identifying a communication session, and event identifiers uniquely identifying events in network elements of the cloud communication network. A data manager of the cloud communications network maps common fields and event-specific fields of network element event records to common fields and generic fields of a data warehouse based on the event type of the event to be recorded.

Abstract: A fraud analysis computing system is provided. The system includes a network interface configured to communicate data over a network and a processing circuit including one or more processors coupled to non-transitory memory. The processing circuit is configured to monitor incoming call data generated during an incoming call between a user and an incoming caller, detect a fraud trigger within the incoming call data, and complete a fraud interception activity in response to detection of the fraud trigger.

Abstract: When a caller initiates an interaction with an interactive voice response (“IVR”) system, the caller may be transferred to a live agent. Apparatus and methods are provided for integrating automated tools into the interaction after the caller been transferred to the agent. The agent may determine which AI responses are appropriate for the caller. AI may be leveraged to suggest responses for both caller and agent while they are interacting with each other. Such human-computer interaction may shorten response time of human agents and improve efficiency of IVR systems.

Abstract: An audio/video (A/V) recording and communication doorbell, including a camera, a speaker, a microphone, a power manager, a battery, an AC/DC rectifier, and a DC/DC converter. The doorbell is configured for connection to an external AC power source through the AC/DC rectifier and the DC/DC converter. The power manager is configured to draw power, up to a threshold power, from the AC power source and to draw supplemental power from the battery such that the power drawn from the AC power source never exceeds the threshold power. The present A/V recording and communication doorbell can thus be connected to an existing household AC power supply and an existing doorbell signaling device without causing inadvertent sounding of the signaling device.

Abstract: A system and method of providing caller identification (ID) over a public switched telephone network (PSTN). For outbound calls, the system and method enable a caller to provide a caller ID that differs from the native caller ID of their mobile phone. The system and method enable multiple phones tied to a single account to display the same caller ID for outbound calls. For forwarded inbound calls, such as calls being forwarded from an office, the system and method inform the recipient of the identification of the call as well as that the call is being forwarded. The system and method enable the recipient to have calls forwarded from more than one number and identify the identity of the caller as well as the specific number the call is being forwarded from.

Abstract: One example method of operation may include receiving a call message intended for a call recipient, removing one or more portions of call message data included in the call message, identifying one or more of a trunk group and an entry point associated with the received call message, adding one or more of a trunk group identifier (TGRP) and a universally unique identifier (UUID) to the call message to create a modified call message, and forwarding the modified call message to a destination network associated with the call recipient.

The present invention may include generating a visual prompt menu having a visual representation of a set of call options included in the IVR system. The present invention may include transmitting the generated visual prompt menu to a display of the telephonic device. The present invention may include receiving, from the telephonic device, at least one selected call option from the generated visual prompt menu. The present invention may include processing, by the IVR system, a call sequence based on the received at least one selected call option from the generated visual prompt menu.
