Abstract: A barrel for a hair styling appliance, the barrel comprising: an external surface; and a heater-mounting surface inside the barrel; wherein the heater-mounting surface is integrally formed with the external surface. For example, the barrel may be formed as a single extruded metal component. Also provided is a barrel assembly comprising such a barrel, and one or more heater elements mounted on the heater-mounting surface. Also provided is a hair styling appliance (e.g. a curling tong, curling wand or hot iron brush) comprising such a barrel assembly. A heater element for a hair styling appliance is also provided, the heater element comprising a substrate having a conductive track for generating heat upon application of an electrical current thereto, and an integral temperature sensor. Manufacturing methods in respect of the above are also provided.

Abstract: A kit includes artificial lash extensions that attach to an underside of natural eyelashes in an arrangement adjacent to one another. The kit includes a storage case designed to releasably hold the artificial lash extensions, and an applicator having a pair of opposing arms that are joined to each other at a proximal end of each arm. Each arm includes a first section having the proximal end of the arm, a second section positioned between and connected to the first section and a third section of the arm, and the third section having a first end portion and a second end portion. The third section defines a curvature between the first end portion and the second end portion. The third sections of the applicator are designed to grasp artificial hairs of an artificial lash extension of the plurality of artificial lash extensions.

Abstract: An applicator includes a first arm and a second arm. Each of the first and second arms includes a medial section extending distally from the proximal end, and a grasping section extending distally from the medial section. The grasping section includes an arcuate portion orientated transverse to the medial section. The arcuate portion has a concave curvature and a convex curvature opposite the concave curvature. A portion of the interior surface of the first arm includes a male portion defined by a protrusion having a first arcuate contour corresponding to at least part of the concave curvature and the convex curvature of the arcuate portion. A portion of the interior surface of the second arm includes a female portion defined by at least one depression having a second arcuate contour corresponding to at least part of the concave curvature and the convex curvature of the arcuate portion.

Abstract: A hair care appliance is provided. The hair care appliance includes a handle and a body coupled to the handle via a rotational hinge joint. The body can be movable via the rotational hinge joint between a straight configuration in which the body is aligned with a longitudinal axis of the handle and a bent configuration in which the body extends along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the handle. A fluid flow path extends between an inlet in the handle and an outlet in the body. The hair care appliance can be operated with minimal loss of fluid flow in either the straight configuration and the bent configuration. The hair care appliance includes a fan assembly in the handle and a heater assembly in the body that are positioned to create a balanced center of mass of the hair care appliance when operated by a user.

The first clasp element has a first latching element along a third longitudinal edge and the second clasp element has a second latching element along a fourth longitudinal edge. The first latching element and the second latching element mate. At least one of the first clasp element and the second clasp element have a way to attach on an exterior surface. The decorative component has a second way to attach. The first and the second way to attach couple together. The decorative component has indicia opposite the second way to attach.

The second lace top section corresponds to the user's mid-scalp region when the wig is worn by the user. Abstract: A method includes obtaining lash extensions. Each of the lash extensions include artificial hairs, and a base from which the artificial hairs protrude. The method includes applying an adhesive to an underside of natural eyelashes of a user, arranging the lash extensions at the underside of the natural eyelashes based on the applied adhesive, and redistributing the adhesive among the arranged lash extensions and the natural eyelashes using a male portion and a female portion of an applicator.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus for integration of hair extensions or other integrations into a user's natural hair. According to the present disclosure, an adhesive means, such as a magnet, Velcro, or snaps, is used to integrate hair extensions seamlessly with user hair. The magnetic nature of the adhesion allows for simple hair decorations, such as flowers, to be attached with minimal effort.
