Abstract: A bangle and makeup kit combination assembly and method of operation provide a personal adornment, such as an annular-shaped bangle, that discretely stores and efficiently dispenses individual components of a makeup kit. The assembly comprises a makeup kit comprising multiple makeup components, such as eye and brow liners, trays, mirrors, and a makeup applicator. The assembly further comprises a bangle having an outer ornamental cover that is defined by a decorative surface. The bangle further comprises an outer annular member, a middle makeup retention member having slots that correspond with makeup components, and an inner annular layer. The bangle also includes an edge locking mechanism that secures the annular members and makeup kit components into the ornamental bangle configuration until disassembly for access to the makeup kit is desired. In this manner, the bangle can be worn as an ornament, and then disassembled to access the makeup kit contained therein.

Abstract: A hair styling aid for curling hair is described, including a housing, guide means comprising a slot in a wall of the housing for receiving a length of hair to be styled, a rotatable element rotatable clockwise or anticlockwise relative to the housing and the guide means, to form curls, and a heated elongate member around which the length of hair is wound by the rotatable element, in use. The housing surrounds a part of the elongate member to form a chamber between the housing wall(s) and the elongate member, the housing extending from and being integral with a handle. The rotatable element is rotatable relative to or with the elongate member, having a predefined starting position to which it is automatically returned after use. The housing has a longitudinal axis and the slot is parallel with the longitudinal axis of the housing.
Abstract: An improved nail polish bottle includes a receptacle having an inner volume configured to retain a nail polish substance. The receptacle having two openings with a pair of coupling members attached to the two openings. The pair of coupling members configured to couple two nail polish cap and brush assemblies. Each nail polish cap and brush assembly includes a different brush type. One is a standard brush for general nail polish use and the other is detailed brush for fine detailed work, such as nail art. The caps on the assemblies may include different shapes or designs so the user knows which cap corresponds to a specific brush. Both brush types share the same nail polish substance in the inner volume of the receptacle.
Abstract: An artificial lash extension includes clusters of artificial hairs. Each of the clusters includes at least two artificial hairs. Each of the clusters are coupled at a base formed by at least an application of heat. Each of the clusters are spaced from one another along a length of the base. The coupled clusters and the base are designed for an application under a natural lash.
Abstract: A method of applying artificial lashes includes obtaining a set of clusters of artificial hairs that form a set of lash fusions connected to a base so as to form a set of lash extensions. The set of clusters may be heat fused at its root to form the base. The method may further includes applying an adhesive to enable the set of lash extensions to be affixed to natural eyelashes, and arranging the base of the set of lash extensions proximate to a proximate end portion of a natural upper eyelash of a subject such that the set of lash extensions extends from the proximate end portion toward a distal end portion of the natural upper eyelash. The method may also include affixing the lash extensions to the natural upper eyelash of the subject such that the lash extensions adhere to the natural upper eyelash via the adhesive.
Abstract: Methods and products for cleaning hair trimmings after cutting a person's hair. One of the methods includes applying a microfiber swab to one of the person's ears to remove the loose hair trimmings resulting from cutting the person's hair. Another one of the methods includes attaching a microfiber neck strip to the person's neck prior to cutting the person's hair.
Abstract: A hair treatment apparatus including a pliable sheet having a width and length positionable on a head of a wearer to engage a hairline between an arcuate top edge and an arcuate bottom edge with a pair of ends correspondingly disposed on opposite sides of a wearer's head and methods of using a hair treatment apparatus.
Abstract: Provided is a pump for discharging cosmetics to the outside while simultaneously opening the outer vessel lid and pushing the discharge plate, which is formed of a smaller number of parts, and thus it is possible to reduce the manufacturing cost.
Abstract: A hair coloring appliance includes a handle and a hair color delivery system supported within the handle. A nozzle assembly is adapted to receive hair color. The nozzle assembly includes a stationary frame and a nozzle array through which the hair color is delivered to the hair and a plurality of filaments adjacent the nozzles which are longer than the nozzles, acting as a stand-off between the nozzles and the scalp. A motor reciprocates the nozzle array back and forth as hair color moves through the nozzles.
Abstract: A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.

Abstract: Cases can be used to house sets of artificial lashes in a specified arrangement. For example, lash fusions may be placed within multiple predefined indentations in the shape of an eyelid. Applicators can be used to resiliently grasp all of the lash fusions in a set of lash extensions, and then simultaneously apply the entire set of lash extensions directly to the underside of the natural lashes. An applicator includes opposed arms that are connected to one another at an inner end designed to be gripped by an individual. The applicator can also include an outer end having a concave shape that is contoured to be substantially flush with the convex shape of the lash line and the predefined indentations of a case that includes the set of lash extensions.
Abstract: Embodiments of hair care apparatus and methods are provided generally comprising a location to provision hair care product, an applicator and a manipulator configured to enable concurrent product application and hair manipulation, and may comprise a product heater, configured to heat product provisioned therein, or be configured for use with an external heating source such as a microwave oven, and provide application of heated product at temperatures both safe for hair health and enhanced absorption. Apparatus may comprise a source of pressure, such as a pump or piston, to generate hair product flow through an applicator, and may be configured to receive product in user fillable or prepackaged product cartridges usable in the apparatus, a product chamber within the apparatus or a removable product reservoir useable in the apparatus.
