Abstract: The invention relates to a method for extending strands of a person's own hair (E) by means of foreign hair strands (1) with the aid of an external shrinking sleeve (3) which surrounds the hair joining point and in which the strands of a person's own hair, the foreign hair strands and a glue (2) are located, wherein after the shrinkage of the shrinking sleeve (3) said sleeve is removed from the connection point.

Abstract: A device which maintains exit temperature of hot air from a hair dryer passing through a nozzle attachment seated on the hair dryer. The hair dryer heats air and blows it out of an opening, with the nozzle attachment seated on the hair dryer opening. The nozzle attachment channels the heated air from the hair dryer opening to and out of a narrowed slotted opening in the nozzle attachment. The device comprises a heat conductive element configured to be securely seated on an interior surface of the nozzle attachment at a position adjacent the narrow slotted opening in the nozzle attachment without substantially impeding heated air from exiting the slotted opening. The heat conductive element is of sufficient dimensions to substantially maintain hot air exit temperature from the hair dryer opening as it exits the slotted opening of the nozzle attachment, without significant heating of the nozzle attachment.

Abstract: An elongated thin strand of an elastic material resembles human hair and is wound around and around to form a loop made up of a plurality of revolutions of the strand. A fastener holds the windings together to retain the loop configuration. In the preferred embodiment, the material from which the device is made should be sufficiently elastic that it can stretch at least twice its relaxed length. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the thickness of the strand from which the present invention is made should be in the range of 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm, most preferably approximately 0.7 mm. The material that is made is able to receive and retain a coloring dye that enables the manufacturer or user to dye it to match the color of their natural hair.

Abstract: A device for removing lipstick includes a shaft having a proximal end coupled to a base, wherein the shaft is configured to fit within a person's mouth, a détente that extends around an entire circumference of the shaft, a concave surface with rounded edges on a distal end of the shaft, wherein the concave surface is configured for blending lipstick, and a cap that is configured to fit securely around the shaft. A method for removing lipstick comprises includes inserting the shaft of the device into the mouth, closing the lips over the détente in the shaft, and then pulling the shaft out of the mouth, while the lips drag over the surface of the shaft.

Abstract: A cosmetic or other stencil assembly and a method of applying a cosmetic or other product using a stencil assembly are provided herein. The stencil assembly of at least one embodiment includes a stencil layer defining one or more inner, stencil portions or application zones, and one or more outer excess portions. The stencil layer is at least initially and at least partially attached to a transfer layer. Makeup, cosmetic or another product is applied to the stencil portion(s) or application zone(s) of the stencil layer, and subsequently, the excess portion(s) are removed from the transfer layer independently from the stencil portion(s). The transfer layer and the stencil portion(s) with makeup applied thereto may then be applied to the skin, thereby transferring the makeup to the skin in the shape of the stencil portion(s).

Abstract: There is provided a wig base comprising: a first elastic portion having a first modulus of elasticity, to which artificial hairs will be planted, second elastic portion(s) connected to the first elastic portion, having a second modulus of elasticity that is larger than the first modulus of elasticity, to which artificial hairs will be planted, and a position holding portion which is a member connected to the second elastic portion, and which holds own hairs or a skin of a wearer located at the position of the member, wherein the first elastic portion, the second elastic portion and the positon holding portion are placed in the order thereof from a top of the head while wearing the wig, and wherein the positon holding portion pulls up a skin of the face of a wearer towards a top of the head while wearing the wig.

The front face of the housing having an open slot at least 0.5 mm in height and between 0.7 cm and 4 cm in width, the slot having a front-facing opening and a rear-facing opening. Within the housing and proximal to the rear-facing opening is a vertically translating nail-cutting blade plate associated with an electric motor that is configured to translate the nail-cutting blade plate consecutively down and up. For example, a cosmetic stamp is an eyebrow stamp that is used for the application of a cosmetic eyebrow using the one or more stamping elements and the stamping substance. A method of applying a cosmetic stamp includes removing a stamping element from a stamp compartment, opening a lid of the stamp compartment, and pressing the face of the stamp to a stamping substance.

Abstract: A hair extension attachment device comprises a housing that includes a sewing mechanism, and a guard configured to shield the sewing mechanism from an individual. The sewing mechanism is configured to receive a first hair section from the individual (e.g., a braid) and a second hair section (e.g., a hair extension or weft) not from the individual, and sew the first and second hair sections together, affixing the second hair section to the individual.

Abstract: A hair folding and creasing brake device for creating pre-folded and creased triangular hair foils for dimensional hair color placement has a hinged sheet which is hinged so that foil sheets placed on its surface can be clamped and then bent to form a crease in the foil. A hair coloring foil is prepared by placing a foil or a pack of foils onto the device which is then folded over the foil to clamp the foil and then then folded again to bend the foil to impart a crease to the foil.

Abstract: Clusters of artificial lashes are initially formed using, for example, a hot melt method in which artificial hairs secured to one another following exposure to a heat source. Multiple clusters can then be connected to one another to form a lash fusion. For example, a lash fusion could include three clusters that are connected together in a straight line. Multiple lash fusions can be arranged proximate to one another to form a set. In some embodiments, the multiple lash fusions are positioned such that the form of the set matches the curvature of the tightline of an eyelid. An adhesive can then be applied to the top of each lash fusion in the set, which enables an individual to easily apply the set directly to the underside of the individual's natural eyelashes (i.e., near the underside of the eyelid beneath the lash line).

Abstract: A self-adhesive artificial eyelash system attachable to a subject wearer's existing natural eyelashes to modify the appearance of the existing natural eyelashes is disclosed. The system includes an adhesive that passes between the existing natural eyelashes and adheres to surrounding support strips such that the existing natural eyelashes are disposed between upper and lower support strips and the adhered support strips are supported on the existing natural eyelashes. Artificial lash hairs extend from the support strips and thus are supported on the existing natural eyelashes via the adhered support strips. The adherence layer between the support strips may include mechanical fasteners.

Abstract: A cosmetics carry system include a carrier that has an elongate body with openings at the opposite ends of the elongated body. At each end there are retaining features to non-permanently retain a small container of product in each end of the carrier. The containers can include a cap having an applicator that extends into the container. The retaining features are designed to allow the user to change the containers carried in the carrier so that the user can, for example, match color for lip gloss and nail polish. The carrier is a permanent member that can have decorative artwork on the outside, while the containers that are carried in the carrier can be disposable.

Abstract: Cases can be used to house sets of artificial lashes in a specified arrangement. For example, lash fusions may be placed within multiple predefined indentations in the shape of an eyelid. Applicators can be used to resiliently grasp all of the lash fusions in a set of lash extensions, and then simultaneously apply the entire set of lash extensions directly to the underside of the natural lashes. An applicator includes opposed arms that are connected to one another at an inner end designed to be gripped by an individual. The applicator can also include an outer end having a concave shape that is contoured to be substantially flush with the convex shape of the lash line and the predefined indentations of a case that includes the set of lash extensions.
