The band is preferably Lyrca, such that it can fit different head sizes of different persons. To help improve the fit, a retaining strap is provided for each temporal region, as well as ergonomic contours along the band that conform to a person's ears. Within the foundation is an enclosed region, including head-receiving portion and voluminous hair-protecting portion. The latter portion ensures sufficient space to protect and maintain a person's natural hair and hairstyle.
