    Abstract: Gutter protector (10) comprises a profiled sheet (28) that extends over a gutter invert (24A) above a gutter floor (24) for collecting water and debris that would otherwise directly collect in the gutter invert (24A). The gutter protector (10) includes a spacer (30) for spacing adjacent profiled sheets (28) by a first gap (32) that allows water to the substantial exclusion of leaves and debris to fall through the gap (32) into the underlying gutter invert (24A). The profiled sheet (28) includes a planer liquid impervious portion (34) having an outer edge (36) adjacent an outer wall (22) of gutter (12) and an inner edge (38) disposed to lie adjacent or in substantial alignment with a lower edge (40) of a roof covering (18). A channel (48) is disposed adjacent to and extends along the inner edge (38) of planar portion (34). Channel (48) has a base (50) below the planar portion and a first wall (52) that extends between the base (50) and inner edge (38).

    Abstract: A post mounting system and method that includes individually adjustable angled gripping elements which contact the interior of a hollow post so as to hold the post firmly against a retaining wall of a base member surrounding the lower end of the post. One or more shim components having a surface area substantially the same as at least the surface area of the bottom of the base member is used to adjust the vertical angularity of a post secured to the base member. The shims may be circularly shaped with a slot extending to the center thereof for shim placement about a rod upon which the base member is mounted. There is a thicker portion of such a shim opposite the slot. Alternative embodiments include additional post reinforcing structures insertable into the interior of the hollow post to provide additional support for complying with building code requirements, such as second story dwelling uses, etc.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a dual stem active camming device including a plurality of compression springs independently coupled to a plurality of cam lobes. The compression springs are positioned between the trigger and the clip-in point of the cam to protect the springs from damage and allow the trigger to compress the springs upon retraction. A flexible stem tube is positioned over the portion of the dual stem between the trigger and the cable terminals. The flexible stem tube shields the trigger wires from debris and abrasion. A rigid yoke is also positioned over the dual stem between the stem tube and cable terminals. The rigid yoke prevents uneven lateral bending on the head of the camming device that may otherwise cause the device to pull out of a placement. The cable terminals are positioned between the outer cam lobes and on either side of the inner cam lobe.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an active camming device including a plurality of non-flat camming surfaces. In accordance with the present invention, the opposing camming surfaces are shaped to include substantially concave and convex surfaces respectively. In one embodiment, each individual cam lobe is shaped in a substantially concave or convex manner to form a cam surface. In another embodiment, a plurality of cam lobes disposed on a single side of a device, are shaped to provide a combined substantially concave or convex surface. The convex surface or surfaces are always disposed opposite of the concave surface or surfaces to provide an increased stability in uneven recesses. Non-flat camming surfaces increase the stability of a camming device in irregular recesses by increasing the number of connection points between the device and the recess.

A bottle holding portion is an open topped receptacle, and a towel holding portion is an upward opening hook on the receptacle sidewall, optionally movably located relative to the location of the receptacle attachment to the support structure. The holder is removably attachable to a frame member in a way that substantially vertically orients the longitudinal axis of the receptacle, wherein the frame member is a bar of no particular cross-sectional shape, and is preferably upstanding but is oriented such that the bar's long axis is vertical, horizontal or at an angle between horizontal and vertical. The holder is also removably attachable to a vertical surface such as a wall.

The left leg 30 and hook-like tail end 26 form means for attachment to a chain link fence 18, while the right leg hook 28 is spaced away from the fence and has an appropriate diameter to support a baseball bat 12 by the handle end with the helmet 14 then placed over the hook-like end, which forms in a substantially horizontal plane a support surface for the helmet.

In an alternate embodiment, a connector assembly is provided for securing a plurality of rods within a connector using a leg threaded into the connector obliquely to a plane occupied by the rods.
