  • Patent number: 10760307
Abstract: The invention relates to a handle that includes an activation member for activating a latch of a vehicle door to unlatch the door and a grip member that cooperates with the activation member to unlatch the door. The grip member has a gripping part and is movable between a flushing position in which the gripping part extends flush to an external panel of the door, an active position in which the gripping part projects with respect to the external panel, becoming graspable, and an opening position in which the grip member drives the activation member to unlatch the door. The handle has a driving mechanism and an actuator lever cooperating with the grip member to drive the latter between the flushing and the active position. When the grip member is pulled in an opening direction, the grip member drives the activation member which unlatches the door.

  • Patent number: 10745946
Abstract: A closing device includes a locking mechanism having a rotary latch and at least one pawl for locking the rotary latch and an electric drive. The closing device is advantageous for front hoods or front flaps, which are located in the front as viewed in the typical direction of travel of a motor vehicle. A method for closing a hood includes using the closing device. The closing device enables a purely electrically operated hood lock having locking, opening, and closing functions. The closing device includes a locking mechanism having a control disk, in which at least two components of the closing device can be moved by rotation of the control disk. Thus, for suitable movement of a plurality of components, it is only necessary to rotate the control disk by rotation by an electric drive to be able to close and/or open a door or flap.

  • Patent number: 10724271
Abstract: A spring cartridge for a mortise lock includes a housing adapted to be secured within the mortise lock housing, and first and second members slideable with respect to the spring cartridge housing, the first and second members each having a first end adapted to contact an outer surface of first and second spindle hubs and being independently actuable along a longitudinal axis of the spring cartridge housing in response to rotation of the first or second spindle hub. A spring retained by the spring cartridge housing contacts a second end of the first and second members to bias each of the members against the outer surface of the first and second spindle hubs, respectively. Upon rotation of one of the hubs, the member contacting the hub permits the hub to rotate, while the member contacting the other hub prevents the other hub from rotating.

  • Patent number: 10697202
Abstract: An electronic cathode lock includes a base formed with an opening that is communicated with an accommodating chamber in the base. In the accommodating chamber, two retaining units are provided symmetrically at two sides of the opening, and two driving units are provided corresponding to the retaining units. The two driving units are configured to position the retaining units to overlap the opening, or make the retaining unit move away from the opening. Thereby, the electronic cathode lock limits a latch in the accommodating chamber or makes the latch get out of the accommodating chamber. Such electronic unlocking of the electronic cathode lock is configured to work with a mechanical lock, thereby electronizing the mechanical lock.
