The system may have a frame, a sign attached to the frame, a plurality of sensors, at least two thrusters, and a microcontroller operatively coupled to the plurality of sensors and the thrusters. The frame is configured to be suspended from a support, and the sign is configured to display a graphic. The plurality of sensors is configured to track an orientation of the frame. The thrusters are configured to adjust the orientation of the frame. Each of the thrusters may have an axis oriented in a direction perpendicular to the frame. The microcontroller is configured to receive a selected orientation of the frame, receive the current orientation of the frame from the sensors, compare the orientation of the frame with the selected orientation, and control the thrusters to adjust the orientation of the frame into the selected orientation.

Abstract: An electronic display device includes: a chassis including a plurality of mounting elements and a controller, and a media player; and a display panel comprising at least one display module mounted to the mounting elements, wherein each display module includes a video display on a front surface of the display module and is positioned relative to the chassis using one or more locating pins located on a back surface of the display module that cooperate with one or more receiving holes in a front surface of the mounting elements and is secured to the chassis; wherein the controller causes the media player to display media content on the display panel.

Abstract: A combination wristband and label form. The form has a front sheet and a back sheet. The front sheet has a void. The back sheet has a wristband die cut therein and separable therefrom. The wristband has a printable portion and a laminating portion. The printable portion is coated with ink that faces away from the back sheet. The wristband is devoid of paper. The printable portion is configured to be printed through the void while the wristband is attached to the combination wristband and label form.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a greeting card or a postcard with a practical joke feature. The practical joke feature can include a sound that is repeatedly played for several hours, days, weeks, etc. The card can include a mode of operation configured to allow a purchaser to experience the sound without arming the practical joke feature. The card can include a pouch that contains one or more surprises for card recipients that attempt to open or destroy the card. The card can include one or more features that resist destruction of the card and/or internal components of the card that implement the practical joke feature.

Abstract: A system, method, and kit facilitate the arrangement of tiles comprising a plurality of tiles coupled together and mounted to a mounting surface using a plurality of hangers and fasteners. The tiles, whether individually or when arranged together, are preferably decorative or aesthetically pleasing. Each tile may form a portion of an overall larger visual image, which may be formed by a concatenation of a plurality of the tiles. The system, method, and kit for creating arrangement of tiles may be used to create large-scale artwork from the plurality of tiles, where the various tiles may be removably arranged and may be reconfigured or deconstructed.

Abstract: Systems and methods include tamper-evident indicators applied to a band comprising a strap that forms a closed loop. Tamper-evident sections of the indicators provide increased security against accidental and intentional removal of the indicators. Indicators are provided with adhesives and bare areas devoid of adhesive allowing easy and secure application of indicators to bands while they are being worn and with greater ease. Indicators can be further provided with liners protecting the adhesives allowing the indicators to be easily applied by gloved hands, reducing contamination risks. Contamination and wear risks can be further reduced by supplying indicators with antimicrobial surfaces and overprint varnishing.

Abstract: A reusable, portable, foldable sign assembly. The assembly has a sign board including first and second sign board portions configured to form an open position in which the sign board portions are aligned linearly and a closed position in which the sign board portions are folded against each other, and at least one handhold to facilitate manipulation by a user. A connecting mechanism holds the first sign board portion and the second sign board portion together. A telescoping extension pole is removably and pivotably attached to the sign board, operable to support the weight of the assembly, and configured to assume an infinite number of extended lengths as desired and set by the user. A transparent cover sleeve is removably attached on one or both of the first sign board portion and the second sign board portion.

Abstract: There is disclosed a label for a microscope slide having a width and a thickness. The label includes a body having a top side and an underside with adhesive. The body defines at least a first panel, a second panel and a third panel. At least one of the panels covers the width of a section of the slide. The label includes at least two folding strip sections. A first of the strip sections is between the first panel and the second panel. A second of the strip sections is between the second panel and the third panel. The strip sections cover the thickness of the section of the slide. A pre-application fold lines demarcates the strip sections from the adjacent panels. The first panel receives information thereon or covers information on the slide, and the third panel is transparent. A method for applying a label is also disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a scratch away labeling system for a package, for instance a gift bag. In an embodiment, the scratch away system integrates into a package by replacing an aperture cut into a package with a single use, scratch away surface, and then covering the surface with a peel-away film to preserve the surface prior to intended use.

The method includes a substantially rectangular marking device frame comprising first and second edges parallel to a first axes and a third and fourth edges parallel to a second axis, wherein the first and second axes are orthogonal. A first set of tiles and a second set of tiles are secured to the marking device frame. The first set of tiles and the second set of tiles are disposed adjacent to one another along the first axis. A first tile of the first set of tiles is exposed to display a first portion of the indicia printed thereon and a second tile of the second set of tiles is exposed to display a second portion of the indicia printed thereon.

Abstract: A sign cover includes a first portion fixed at a top side thereof with a top side of a second portion. Peripheral edges of the portions extend past a peripheral edge of a sign by a margin area when the portions are positioned over a front side and a rear side of the sign in a deployed configuration. The margin area of the portions each include a plurality of two-part mechanical fasteners. As such, in use, with the first portion and the second portion draped over the sign, the two-part mechanical fasteners hold the cover onto the sign. The first portion may include one or more transparent pockets for displaying one of several alternate signs.

Abstract: A flag anti-wrapping device for reducing friction and side loading, which are common causes of flag wrapping. The flag anti-wrapping device includes an inner race, an outer race, a plurality of roller bearings, and a cap. Roller bearings are placed in an annular cavity, which is defined by the outer race having an inner circumference with a diameter larger than an outer diameter of the inner race. Thus, a flag may rotate about a flagpole with reduced friction and side-loading. Thereby, eliminating side load binding and reducing wrapping of the flag about the flagpole.

Abstract: Label constructions comprise a first section and a second section that are laminate constructions of a card stock top surface that may include printed indicia, an adhesive layer disposed underneath the card stock, and a removable liner adhered to the adhesive layer and common to the first and second sections. The first section includes an RFID device. The first section may be configured once removed from the liner to fold on itself to form an RFID tag, or to form an RFID adhesive label. The second section once separately removed from the liner forms an adhesive label. The construction first and second sections are positioned adjacent one another and are formed during the same manufacturing process for purposes of manufacturing efficiency. The first and second sections may be treated to facilitate separate removal from the liner to provide labeling flexibility.

Abstract: A mirror apparatus that includes a mirror that is at least partially covered by a decorative door that is movable away from the mirror so that the mirror can be cleaned. The mirror apparatus includes a frame having an inner surface that defines a display opening. The mirror which is coupled to the frame may have a reflective front surface that is exposed within the display opening. The decorative door may be pivotably coupled to the frame between a closed state whereby the decorative door overlies the mirror and an open state whereby the decorative door does not overlie the mirror. In the open state, the mirror is completely exposed for cleaning. The mirror apparatus may also include a locking assembly for locking the decorative door in the closed state.

Abstract: A display device having a wedge shape body for displaying indicia on a dashboard of a vehicle between a windshield and a dashboard. The wedge shape body having a front surface, a lower surface, a rear surface and a pair of sides. The front surface includes indicia displayed thereon. The lower surface of the wedge shape body is a gripping surface that prevents slippage of the display device. Various items can be secured to the rear surface of the display device, such as a mobile device holder, a deodorant and the like.
