  • Patent number: 11343317
Abstract: Embodiments provide a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: after obtaining information of a target input port of a data receiving device and information of a target protocol used by a target Internet of Things device connected to the target input port, the data receiving device determines the target input port and the target protocol, and decapsulates, according to the target protocol, a first data packet transmitted by the target Internet of Things device via means of the target input port to obtain data. The data receiving device can adaptively determine a target protocol according to the information of the target protocol used by the target Internet of Things device, without configuring the target protocol for the target Internet of Things device in advance.

  • Patent number: 11343018
Abstract: This application discloses a polar code interleaving processing method and apparatus. The method includes: determining N to-be-encoded bits, where N is a positive integer; obtaining a first sequence that includes sequence numbers of N polarized channels, where the first sequence is used to indicate a reliability order of the N polarized channels; performing polar encoding on the N to-be-encoded bits to obtain encoded bits; and performing interleaving processing on the encoded bits based on the first sequence. Because the first sequence used to indicate the reliability of the polarized channels is a sequence already existing in a polar code encoding process, no additional storage resource needs to be used to store the first sequence in the interleaving processing process, thereby reducing use of storage resources.

  • Patent number: 11329785
Abstract: A method and system for minimizing the control overhead in a multi-carrier wireless communication network that utilizes a time-frequency resource is disclosed. In some embodiments, one or more zones in the time-frequency resource are designated for particular applications, such as a zone dedicated for voice-over-IP (VoIP) applications. By grouping applications of a similar type together within a zone, a reduction in the number of bits necessary for mapping a packet stream to a portion of the time-frequency resource can be achieved. In some embodiments, modular coding schemes associated with the packet streams may be selected that further reduce the amount of necessary control information. In some embodiments, packets may be classified for transmission in accordance with application type, QoS parameters, and other properties. In some embodiments, improved control messages may be constructed to facilitate the control process and minimize associated overhead.

  • Patent number: 11329793
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for efficient bandwidth adaptation for wideband carrier. In one novel aspect, the UE starts a BWP timer upon detecting one or more BWP timer starting triggering events, resets the BWP timer upon detecting BWP resetting triggering events, and switches to the default BWP upon expiration of the BWP timer. The BWP timer starting triggering events comprises decoding a command to switch away from the default BWP, the detection of end of DL data transmission in DRX mode. In another novel aspect, the UE only decodes the DCI indication for active BWP switching in the first three OFDM symbols of a subframe or a slot. In yet another novel aspect, when the SPS is configured for the serving cell for a UE with multiple BWPs, the SPS is configured for all the BWPs accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11317411
Abstract: At least two PDSCH resource allocations can be received. Different PDSCH resource allocations of the at least two PDSCH resource allocations can be associated with different spatial filters for a UE. A pre-emption indication that indicates pre-empted resources can be received. A determination can be made as to whether the pre-emption indication is applicable to a first PDSCH resource allocation, a second PDSCH resource allocation, both PDSCH resource allocations, or no PDSCH resource allocation of the at least two PDSCH resource allocations. A first PDSCH corresponding to the first PDSCH resource allocation can be decoded based on no transmission being present for the UE in the pre-empted resources in response to determining the pre-emption indication is applicable to the first PDSCH resource allocation and not applicable to the second PDSCH resource allocation.

  • Patent number: 11303474
Abstract: Techniques for split-horizon filtering for EVPN-VXLANs are described. For example, an egress provider edge (PE) device is configured to apply split-horizon filtering to a BUM packet received from an intermediate network if the BUM packet includes a split-horizon identifier advertised by the egress PE device. As one example, the PE device encapsulates the split-horizon identifier within a tagging packet frame, such as a tagging packet frame in accordance with the 802.1Q tag format comprising a Tag Protocol Identifier (TPID). An ingress PE device receives the split-horizon identifier advertised by the egress PE device and is configured to encapsulate the split-horizon identifier within a BUM packet received from the Ethernet segment, and send the encapsulated packet into the intermediate network towards the egress PE device. In this way, when egress PE device receives the encapsulated packet including the split-horizon identifier, the egress PE device performs split-horizon filtering on the packet.

  • Patent number: 11283535
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method is performed after locking a first clock of a computing device to synchronize with a second clock associated with a first device where a difference between the first clock and the second clock is determined during the locking. The method measures a path delay to a second device based on sending messages including first timestamps of the first clock to the second device and receiving messages including second timestamps of a third clock from the second device. A third message is sent to the second device that includes a third timestamp of the first clock that has been locked to the second clock, wherein the third message includes the path delay, and wherein the third timestamp and the path delay allow the second device to analyze a lock quality of the first clock to the second clock based on a time of the third clock.

  • Patent number: 11277882
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing intelligence enabled things (“IET”). In various embodiments, a first IET tag affixed to a first object among a plurality of objects might receive information regarding the first object and/or nearby objects. The first IET tag might determine a status of the first object and/or the nearby objects based at least partly on the received information and based at least partly on first data assigned to the first IET tag. The first IET tag might analyze the determined status to determine whether the determined status exceeds predetermined thresholds for normal parameters for the first object and/or the nearby objects. Based on a determination that the determined status exceeds predetermined thresholds for normal parameters for the first object and/or the nearby objects, the first IET tag might autonomously self-report to a computing system a state of the first object and/or the nearby objects.
