  • Patent number: 11740320
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to determine a position of a user equipment (UE). In an aspect, the UE receives a plurality of positioning reference signals (PRS) from a plurality of cells. The UE determines a plurality of time of arrivals (TOA) of the plurality of PRSs, and prunes the plurality of TOAs based on the plurality of PRSs. The UE then derives a time difference of arrival (TDOA) vector from the pruned TOAs. The TDOA vector includes multiple TOA related measurements of multiple cells. The UE prunes the TOAs such that the cells represented in the TDOA vector are sufficiently geographically dispersed to determine the position of the UE at least in 2D.

  • Patent number: 11743427
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for enhancing communications mobility in an enterprise using distributed communication controllers. The distributed communication controllers provide overlapping communication ranges that are capable of passing off call responsibilities as a user and user device navigates an enterprise ensuring full call coverage throughout the enterprise. As the user device moves outside of the range of a first distributed communication controller into the range of a second distributed communication controller while on a call, the system of distributed communication controllers transfer the call responsibilities provided by the first distributed communication controller to the second distributed communication controller, seamlessly, allowing the user to continue the call without interruption.

  • Patent number: 11735029
Abstract: An emergency communication system, while accurately and reliably detecting a location of an object person, receives contact from the object person and grasps a state of the object person when a matter of emergency has occurred. An object person terminal transmits identification information via short-range wireless communication, acquires location information by a GPS function, and transmits the identification information and the location information to a server. A detection terminal transmits the identification information transmitted from the object person terminal. The server specifies the location of the object person terminal on the basis of the information transmitted from the detection terminal or the identification information and the location information transmitted from the object person terminal.

  • Patent number: 11716375
Abstract: Improved identification of a computer configured with an operating system (OS), a web browser and one or more applications is disclosed. An identifying code for advertisers (IFA) may be obtained via the operating system (OS) of the computer. A first application configuring the computer may include instructions to initiate an ad call comprising a request including the IFA to cause the first application to render an advertisement received by the computing device from a first web resource in response to the ad call. The web browser may execute the script to associate the web browser with a durable id (DID). The DID and the IFA may be correlated.

  • Patent number: 11696208
Abstract: Techniques, devices, and systems for implementing a Priority Data Transport Service (PDTS) are disclosed. The PDTS provides authorized devices and/or authorized users with on-demand, priority data transport (e.g., priority Internet access). For example, the PDTS allows authorized devices and/or authorized users to access the Internet, use mobile applications, and/or send and receive image data, video data, and text data in a prioritized manner, as compared to the regular (non-priority) Internet access that is provided to non-subscribers of the PDTS over commercial telecommunications networks. An authorized user may activate and deactivate the PDTS on demand. For instance, the PDTS may be activated during an emergency or crisis situation when networks may be congested, thereby providing the user with priority data transport (e.g., priority Internet access) in an emergency or crisis situation when a telecommunications network may be overloaded.

  • Patent number: 11696251
Abstract: A device may receive data identifying a quantity of wireless network devices, distance data identifying distances from the wireless network devices to a geographical location, data identifying signal strengths of the wireless network devices, carrier data identifying wireless and wireline carriers for the wireless network devices, or path data identifying wireline paths for the wireless network devices and wireline network devices. The device may assign scores to the quantity, the distance data, the signal strengths, the carrier data, or the path data to generate scores, and may combine the scores to generate a diversity risk score. The device may compare the diversity risk score to a diversity risk threshold scale and may determine whether the diversity risk score satisfies thresholds of the diversity risk threshold scale based on the comparison. The device may perform actions based on whether the diversity risk score satisfies the thresholds.
