    Abstract: A method for allocating wireless resources based on sensitivity to interference provides a base station controller which, within an area of overlap of adjacent wireless cells, determines a set of neighboring cell pairs from a plurality of cells. The base station controller sorts the set of neighboring cell pairs according to the number of inner-pair interfered user equipment devices of each neighboring cell pair where inner-pair interfered user equipment devices are user equipment devices located in coverage areas of the neighboring cell pair and allocates resource blocks for each neighboring cell pair sequentially based on the sorted set. An apparatus employing the method is also disclosed.

A multi-AP controller may determine a BSS configuration policy (such as a maximum transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration) for the second BSS based on a type of traffic in the first BSS. This disclosure includes techniques for sharing traffic characteristics, determining the BSS configuration policy, communicating the BSS configuration policy, and controlling the BSS configuration policies for multiple BSSs so that one of the BSSs can provide a quality of service (QoS) for one or more stations (STAs).

    Abstract: A network platform manages the provisioning of a UE with a dominant identity profile and a recessive identity profile. The dominant profile is associated with a user's existing wireless data plan and the recessive profile corresponds to a data plan of a provider of device, or machine-to-machine, services to the UE. The UE uses the two profiles to transmit separate data contexts on separate respective bearers. When managing two separate bearers, the UE always uses the dominant profile first for managing a handoff to a stronger cell. The UE reports that the new cell that now serves the dominant context is the only cell that has enough strength to support the recessive context, even if other cells near the UE have signals strong enough. This necessarily causes the recessive context to always be handed off to the same cell to which the dominant context has already been handed off.

The method further marks, at the end of the particular time period, the destination node as being in a bad actor state if the available memory is below the particular threshold, and as being in a good actor state if the memory is above the particular threshold. The method, in response to marking the destination node as being in a bad actor state, sends a signal to the nodes causing the nodes to drop packets directed to the destination node.
