  • Patent number: 11711768
Abstract: A method and apparatus for power control for wireless transmissions are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may reduce transmission power to channels for carrier aggregation such that a total transmit power of the WTRU is smaller than or equal to a maximum transmission power level in all symbols of a transmission. Further, transmission power may be allocated to the channels for carrier aggregation based on priority. Also, transmission power may be allocated to a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) with uplink control information over a PUSCH without uplink control information. Moreover, transmission power may be allocated to a PUCCH or a PUSCH over a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission. Additionally, the WTRU may transmit data over one or more channels, of the channels for carrier aggregation, at the respective transmission power allocated to the one or more channels.

  • Patent number: 11706132
Abstract: Systems and methods for routing traffic through a network along Label-Switched Paths (LSPs) that may extend across multiple autonomous systems include performing Internet Protocol (IP) routing lookups as a packet is transmitted along the LSP. In one implementation, a packet having a predetermined value (which may be inserted by an upstream network device) is received at a network device after travelling along a first segment of an LSP. In response to identifying the predetermined label value of the packet, the network device may perform an IP routing lookup using IP routing information included in the packet to identify a next hop for the packet. The network device may then update a label of the packet such that the packet is routed along a second segment of the LSP and transmit the communication packet to the next hop.

  • Patent number: 11706144
Abstract: A network device includes a rate measurement circuit that is configured to measure respective egress rates at which respective data is being transmitted via respective ports associated with the network device. A marking ratio determination circuit is configured to select respective marking ratios based on respective measured egress rates, the marking ratios for marking packets to be transmitted via the respective ports to indicate respective levels of congestion corresponding to the respective ports. Different marking ratios correspond to different measured egress rates. A packet editor circuit is configured to mark selected packets to be transmitted via respective ports according to the respective selected marking ratios. The respective selected marking ratios indicate to other communication devices that respective network paths via which the selected packets travelled experienced congestion, and the respective marking ratios indicate respective levels of congestion.

  • Patent number: 11700554
Abstract: A method and system for controlling air-interface connectivity of a user equipment device (UE). A computing system detects, when the UE has dual connectivity including a first air-interface connection with a first access node and a second air-interface connection with a second access node, and when the first air-interface connection is defined on a first carrier, that the UE is moving toward a geographic area where UEs that were served by the first access node on the first carrier as part of dual connectivity lost their dual connectivity due to their having insufficient aggregate dual-connectivity throughput. And based at least on the detecting, the computing system reconfigures the first air-interface connection of the UE's dual connectivity to be defined on a lower-frequency second carrier, to help avoid having the UE lose its dual connectivity.
