Abstract: An authorization control network includes a limit profile database and at least one computer server. The server(s) receives an account identifier and a datum from a communications device, and associates the datum with the account identifier in a limit profile record of the limit profile database. The server(s) also receives the account identifier and a transaction limit, and associates the transaction limit with the account identifier in the limit profile record. The server(s) then receives from a POS device an authorization request that includes the account identifier and an authorization amount. If the server(s) confirms that the authorization amount does not exceed the transaction limit that is associated with the account identifier in the limit profile record and does not exceed an available credit limit that is associated with the account identifier, the server(s) transmits to the POS device an authorization response that confirms authorization of the authorization amount.

The system comprises an identification device and associated hardware and software components. The identification device a skin wearable, waterproof, non-transferable frangible individual identification device comprising (1) an adhesive and marking arranged on a substrate to provide a physiologically perceptible, humanly understandable information related to said individual, and (2) an electronic device having wireless communication capability with the ability to send, receive, and store information, wherein electronic device comprises at least one sensor for taking vital sign data, wherein once applied to skin, removal of the individual renders the identification device inoperable wherein the marking, substrate, and adhesive are biocompatible.

For example, a user interface may be placed on a card (e.g., a physical button) or a telephonic device (e.g., a virtual button on a capacitive touch screen). Manual input provided to this user interface may, for example, cause a purchase to be paid by credit and points may be earned for the purchase. A different manual input may, for example, cause a purchase to be paid by credit and points not be earned for the purchase in exchange for one or more chances to win a prize in a random lottery. An instant winner functionality may be provided on a card. For example, a card may randomly become an instant winner based on, for example, time and/or use.

Abstract: A wireless parking meter with an improved antenna location is described. The antenna may be located within a covering protruding from the top of the parking meter, allowing radio frequency (RF) signals to be transmitted through a portion of the parking meter with high permittivity to the RF signals. Additionally or alternatively, the antenna may be located within the parking meter housing above a lower parking meter mechanism housing so that RF signals can be transmitted through the dome covering of the parking meter, which may have a high permittivity to the RF signals.

Abstract: A multi-function transaction card may receive, from shelf sensors, first data indicating that items have been removed from shelves by a customer of a merchant, and may receive, from shopping cart sensors, second data indicating that the items have been placed in a shopping cart. The multi-function transaction card may receive, based on the first data and the second data, item data identifying the items placed in the shopping cart, wherein the item data is received from price tags of the items. The multi-function transaction card may store the item data, and may provide, to a transaction terminal of the merchant, the item data identifying the items and customer data identifying the customer. The multi-function transaction card may receive, from the transaction terminal, transaction data identifying a transaction that charges the multi-function transaction card for a total cost of the items.

Abstract: At least some embodiments are directed to a dynamic card. The dynamic card transmits a first temporary card identification number to a computing device. The dynamic card is without an internal power source and is powered up by an external power source housed within the computing device. The dynamic card determines an absence of unused encrypted card identification numbers and receives a set of encrypted card identification numbers from a server. The dynamic card decrypts a second temporary card identification number from the encrypted card identification numbers and shows the second temporary card identification number on a display, replacing the first temporary card identification number. The second temporary card identification number remains shown on the display after the power from the external power source is discontinued. The second temporary card identification number can be used in a subsequent interaction with another computing device.

The system includes a tokenization system that generates a digital token that corresponds to the item that is cryptographically linked to the virtual representation thereof. The system also includes a ledger update system that updates a cryptographic ledger with the virtual representation, the digital token, and the smart contract corresponding to the virtual representation, wherein in response to determining that the set of verifiable conditions are satisfied, the smart contract instructs the ledger update system to transfer the digital token to an account of a user that transacted for the item.

The system is configured to generate a digital token and cryptographically link the digital token to on a blockchain to facilitate transactions for the item using the blockchain. Abstract: In embodiments, a system for tokenizing incompatible currencies is disclosed. The system includes a currency bridge that receives a request to tokenize an amount of currency for a user, verifies verify that the user has the defined amount of currency and that the currency has been locked in an account such that the user is unable to transfer the defined amount of currency from the account, and in response to verifying that the defined amount of currency has been locked, request generation of an NFT in accordance with a tokenization protocol that represents the locked currency.
