  • Patent number: 11726470
Abstract: A method of continuously determining a measure of quality for a control device of a technical device or for a system model of a technical system, from an input variable and an output variable. Time series of the input variable and the output variable are acquired up to a time step. A discrete ARMAX model structure is adapted for the ascertained, corresponding time series of the input variable and output variable, in order to determine a first set of parameters for modeling the time series of the input variable and a second set of parameters for modeling the time series of the output variable. The measure of quality is determined for the time step as a function of the first and the second set of parameters.

  • Patent number: 11709479
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically controlling chlorinator operations based on chlorine demand may include receiving an operation command associated with a chlorinator for a fluid system with a chlorinator operation management controller (“management controller”). The management controller may determine a remaining runtime for the chlorinator and access measured values for fluid conditions from a plurality of fluid condition sensors for fluid of the fluid system. The management controller may determine a current chlorine demand based on the measured fluid conditions and a predetermined threshold for a chlorine level for the fluid. An operation of the chlorinator between an active state and an inactive state may be caused by the controller based on the current chlorine demand, the remaining runtime, and a configuration of components for the fluid system. Causing the operation of the chlorinator may include managing operations of a legacy control for the chlorinator.

  • Patent number: 11689384
Abstract: A controller for building equipment that operate to produce or consume resources for a building or campus. The controller performs an optimization of an objective function subject to an override constraint to determine values for a plurality of decision variables indicating amounts of resources to be produced or consumed by the building equipment. The override constraint defines one or more of the values for a subset of the plurality of decision variables by specifying an override amount of a first resource of the resources to be produced or consumed by a first subset of the building equipment and the optimization determines a remainder of the values for a remainder of the plurality of decision variables. The controller controls the building equipment to produce or consume the amounts of the resources determined by performing the optimization subject to the override constraint.

  • Patent number: 11669058
Abstract: A training set that includes at least two data types corresponding to operations and control of a manufacturing process is obtained. A deep learning processor is trained to predict expected characteristics of output control signals that correspond with one or more corresponding input operating instructions. A first input operating instruction is received from a first signal splitter. A first output control signal is received from a second signal splitter. The deep learning processor correlates the first input operating instruction and the first output control signal. Based on the correlating, the deep learning processor determines that the first output control signal is not within a range of expected values based on the first input operating instruction. Responsive to the determining, an indication of an anomalous activity is provided as a result of detection of the anomalous activity in the manufacturing process.
