Abstract: A dispensing-sealing arrangement (10) is disclosed for a container (12) comprising a resiliently deformable dispensing apparatus typically in the form of a teat (14) connected about opening (16) of the container (12). The teat (14) is provided with an outlet (18) for dispensing matter contained in the container (12). Cap (20) is provided with a skirt (22) for insertion into the opening (16) for sealing the container (12). Sealing is achieved by the skirt (22) deforming the teat (14) in the manner so that a first portion (24) of the teat is sandwiched between the opening (16) and the skirt (22). The skirt (22) is configured so that sufficient pressure is applied to the teat (14) to ensure positive sealing between the teat and the first skirt (22). The skirt (22) is located in board of the periphery of, and depends from, upper wall (26) of cap (20).

Abstract: A flat-top, hermetically sealed, paperboard-based container and apparatus and method of making it are set forth. The paperboard-based container includes a rectangular sleeve having upper end sections joined at fold lines with side walls. The upper end sections are divided into inner and outer opposed pairs which are folded toward one another in an overlapping manner to form a generally flat end for the container. Each of the inner and outer opposed sections includes a cutout. When the upper end sections are folded in and overlapping manner, the cutouts define an aperture having edges that include exposed paperboard substrate. Each of the inner pair of opposed end sections are divided along fold lines into a middle region and laterally opposed side regions. The laterally opposed side regions are folded onto the middle region and are sandwiched between the middle region and the outer pair of opposed sections when folded to form the container top.
Abstract: The nurser is made of a resilient outer shell and a flexible liner. A nipple is attached to the upper end of the outer shell. The outer shell is squeezed to allow the pressure inside to increase and force air in the liner through the nipple. The nurser utilizes a one way valve on the outer shell to allow air into the shell when the pressure is released from the outer shell. This prevents the liner from expanding and air from reentering the liner.
Abstract: A multi-compartment container for packaging a plurality of articles such as bottles, comprises two or more compartment units and a frangible connecting portion. Each compartment unit comprises a base panel, opposed side panels, opposed end panels and a top panel. Certain adjacent panels of the compartment units partly provide the frangible connecting portion so that removal of the connecting portion causes at least partial separation of the units and provides access for removal of the articles contained in the units. Upon removal of the connecting portion, at least a part of each panel of each compartment unit remains intact.

Abstract: A luggage system of the present invention is provided for transporting an additional piece of luggage having a supplementary tow handle when positioned on a piece of wheeled luggage. The luggage system preferably includes a first piece of wheeled luggage including a body, wheels connected to lower end portions of the body, and a wheeled luggage tow handle connected to the body for towing the wheeled luggage. A second piece of luggage detachably mounts to the wheeled luggage tow handle of the first piece of luggage and is positioned to overlie upper portions of the body of the first piece of wheeled luggage. The second piece of luggage preferably includes a body, a handle retainer connected to the body for retaining the wheeled luggage tow handle, and a supplementary towing handle connected to the body for towing the combination of the first and second pieces of luggage. A method for towing a combination of a piece of luggage and a piece of wheeled luggage by a user is also provided.
Abstract: A cover device and method of use therefor for a motor vehicle which comprises a means for covering an entirety of a window and only a portion of at least one of a motor vehicle roof adjacent the window, a motor vehicle hood adjacent the window, a motor vehicle component adjacent the top edge portion of the window and a motor vehicle component adjacent the bottom edge portion of the window, and at least one handle for the covering means. The covering means is at least one of closable and securable inside at least one of a motor vehicle door, window and passenger compartment.
Abstract: A removable insulating container which grips a bottle such that the container is held snugly in place. The container uses a separate lower sleeve and an upper cap which are mounted on a medicine bottle to substantially encase the medicine bottle. The container is fabricated from a multi-layer flexible material which has an impact resistant outer layer and an inner layer which forms an internal channel that grips the side of the medicine bottle. The proximal end of the container has an optional viewing window which allows the user to estimate the amount of medicine remaining in the medicine bottle. The proximal end of the lower sleeve extends past the bottom of the bottle to prevent it from impacting a surface should it be dropped.
Abstract: A release mechanism comprises an ejector formed on a frame member to be movable forward and backward, and a lever rotated in response to a forward movement of the ejector to release a mating connector from conductive contacts. The ejector is located in an opening of the frame member in a normal condition in which the mating connector is inserted in the from member. The ejector is protruded outside the opening only start of releasing operation of the mating connector. The ejector has a first mode enabling a predetermined forward movement and a second mode disabling the predetermined forward movement. The release mechanism further comprises members for cancelling the first mode and putting the ejector into the second mode after the mating connector is released from the conductive contacts, and members for restoring the first mode of the ejector from the second mode in response to an external operation of the ejector while the mating connector is connected to the conductive contacts.
